Our van’s tire blew out on the freeway. We were able to tow it back home. Then I called AAA on the weekend to tow it to a service center to have the tire replaced. They dispatched this guy from Fortes. After he loaded the van, I just asked him what’s the address of the service center? He gave me the attitude right away and even told he knew what he was doing. I was like… HUH?!??!? I need to know where he’s taking my van so I can drive there. Definitely lacks customer service. And seems like their default stance I guess is be defensive and arrogant.Service: Car towing

Fortes Bros was assigned to us by AAA when our car wouldn't start. They provided excellent customer service, arrived way before the anticipated time, diagnosed my problem after testing a number of things, didn't end up having to tow but accompanied me to the car dealership to make sure I safely arrived there. I locked myself out of my vehicle.... Technician, Chris with Fortes Bros provided me with excellent customer service. He went beyond the car door "unlock" service request and further helped me by taking the initiative to look up from his mobile device, how to unlock a trunk for my particular car model in order to help get my key that was locked in my trunk. My battery died while I was at work and I called AAA. They sent us an angel named Joshua within 10 minutes. Not only did he get us a new battery, but he made sure that he checked everything possible to make sure I arrived at home safely after I explained that I had to drive from SF to our home in Sacramento. I am delighted with the service I received from Fortes today. Service technician Andrew came within 15 minutes of my AAA request to change my tire after I got a flat off of 237. He was extremely gracious and ensured that both me and my vehicle were safe from oncoming traffic on the offramp where I was parked. He was patient and explained the next steps for getting that tire replaced. It is the day before Christmas Eve and I am so grateful for his help and getting home safe. Andres came to rescue my flat tire through Toyota Roadside service. He arrived so quickly and was super efficient! I am 7-month pregnant and he so kindly took out all heavy stuff from the trunk to access the spare tire and put them all back for me when the change was done. He was so upbeat and nice throughout! Marcos, from Fortes Bros, arrived promptly and replaced my dead battery very quickly. I was honestly surprised how fast it all was. Also, Marcos was super easy to talk to and seemed like a really cool guy. Thanks so much! Edit: I forgot to mention this was all through AAA.Service: Battery

My son car was hit by a tire on freeway which badly damaged his car. Few days later, AAA sent Fortes taking this non operating car to the shop. My son was telecommuting and in a meeting so he gave me his drivers license and membership card. Fortes driver arrived and insisted he needed my membership card and driver’s license. Few words exchanged and I went in and got my membership and driver’s license within 30 seconds. The driver was on the phone making me waiting. After he is done with his call, he told me he is leaving and will not tow my son’s car to the shop. I asked what his name was and he refused and drove off! This is one of the towing company that knows you call them when you are in a jam. Therefore, if they don’t like something, they will get an upper hand by leaving you cold . Some of the towing company knows full well you are in a vulnerable situation which they can do some abuse or retaliation and not treat you as most other business need to treat their customers to make money . The supervisor Carlos is not any better. He is the one who supported the driver to leave. Be careful when you deal with this company. I already see a few bad reviews on Google. This company clearly has a culture of abusing customers when they are in a vulnerable towing situation.Service: Car towing

If I could give zero stars I would. Its unfortunate that this company doesn’t even have the proper communication. According to there driver, I was supposed to pay prior to getting towed when I was told, over the phone when I called, that I was to pay when the tow truck arrived very confusing. Then to be told that it was too out of the way and that I’d have to wait another hour to an hour and a half after already waiting an hour and the driver was so rude as I was telling where I needed my car to be towed he said what hold on put me on hold and then proceeded to be annoyed with having to travel again stating it’s too much out of the way and he’s got several other tows to do that his phone just started working again. Its beyond me why you would treat a paying customer like not to mention they didn’t even inform me that they were closing and that after hours is for emergencies only that’s according to the female I spoke to when trying to get the ETA of the Tow truck driver never again will I or anyone I know be using this company thanks for nothingService: Car towing

I called AAA because my battery was dead, they dispatched Fortes who put in a battery that was too small/too few cca's for my type of car. I mentioned this, and was told they put that same battery into all cars. Troubles took me to the dealer who again stated this is not the battery your car should have.Service: Battery
