Fortune Chinese Restaurant

Middle of the road Chinese food. Quality was good, but its a bit lacking in flavor. We ordered carry-out and it was ready slightly ahead of schedule. Prices are good and the quantity was decent. This would not be a go-to stop for me, but if you want something fast and cheap, this place works. I did like the flavor in the egg rolls.

Quiet and comfortable place to have a meal. Food is enjoyable and pleasant. I've been here many times & yet to experience something bad. If I do, I'll update

They have the best Shrimp in Lobster Sauce that I've ever had (and it is my favorite Chinese meal). Hot and sour soup is great.

Actually this review is based on service. My daughter and I came to this restaurant by mistake last Wednesday because Google maps took us there instead of Confucius restaurant( should have been my first clue!) Since we were there, we figured we would try it. The food was fine however on my credit card statement I was charged an extra $2.50 on my bill. The restaurant/hostess/owner had the nerve to put a tip on my credit card without my approval!!! I had 2 lunch specials and water at 16.50 but $19 was charged! She must have thought we didn't tip her, got pissed and put it on herself. NOT O.K, that is stealing!!!! For 2 people a tip should not be automatically put on. The thing is I did leave $3 tip, folded in half under the white soy sauce bottle, but even if I didn't, they had NO right to charge my card extra without my approval. I disputed the charge, but have heard nothing. Any place that will do that despite how good the food is is not HONEST and deserves the lowest review. Do not support this greedy business!

They weren't answering their phone to take call in orders because "they were busy". After getting our food home, I found that my General Tso's Chicken had no batter on it. It looked and tasted like boiled chicken with barbecue sauce on it. It was Christmas night, so the 2 stars I gave it should be considered a gift.
