This was a last minute decision due to the time of night. I took a chance on this place. And let me tell you. I was not disappointed. I have never been here. But when visiting Philly I will make sure I come in. I had the Short Rib Taco’s

We were in town visiting & Google'd "sports bars near me" because we wanted to watch football... it was Sunday, of course. It was nearby & had good reviews so we checked it out, posted up at the bar & it was great! Honestly, we felt like we were home. The bartenders were great & attentive & the drinks were going down way too easily. Definitely check this place out... great local vibe & good libations! We didn't eat, so I can't give any comments on that, sorry!

Went to Founding Fathers on a Friday around noon. The place had just opened for the day. The place was full but not overly crowded. Got seated immediately, then the bartender came and took our drink order and told us our waitress had just arrived. Drinks came from the bartender. We sat for over an hour waiting to place our food order. Waitress was tending to all the tables around us but not ours. We literally had to flag down someone for our bill because we came to the conclusion we were not gonna be served food in this establishment. It took another 15 minutes for our bill to make it to our table. Overall I would not recommend this place.

Exceptionally slow service. Had only a single bartender for a full house during a World Cup game. I waited for over 15 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. She did not wipe down the bar or clear away the remaining empty glasses from the previous guest at any point during my stay. I watched two other people sit at the bar and wait for 20-25 minutes without being given the opportunity to order.

Short trip to Philly and needed a good spot to watch the football game and have dinner around late on Sunday. Found Founding Fathers Sports Bar & Grill with a google search and it was great! The food is really good, great service and a really nice spot. Will definitely return next time I'm in Philly!!

Fantastic environment to watch a birds game. Staff were helpful and nice, food was delicious, and other fans were great. Topped off a great time with an Eagles win. Will definitely be back!

In the immediate area, I believe that this is one of the sports bars that stands out as particularly notable. If you have the good fortune to acquire a table at the restaurant in the first place, you will have a difficult time leaving because of the Good beer, good food! And wonderful assistance. Very friendly

Service was poor, when ordering food was not given silverware or napkins after asking. Had to get up and ask the hostess for some. When looking to see if I left a credit card there they made me come in, then brushed me off for 30 minutes to check if my card was there. Although the philly cheese steak was yummy

Excellent time watching the Eagles game. Don't go there with just 2 in your party and expect to sit at a table for 4 or more. We seated ourselves and were asked to get up because we didn't have at least 3 in our party. I saw 2 ladies walk in and went and asked if they had anyone else with them, and so all 4 of us strangers met and sat together and watched a great game.
