Franke's Cafeteria

I get more than a little weepy sometimes when I stop to think about how many wonderful, wonderful childhood memories revolve around Franke's. No trip to Little Rock was ever complete for my family without at least one meal at Franke's! On recent trips back, I've made sure to stop in and enjoy the well prepared, tasty Southern dishes that Franke's is famous for. Businesses don't stick around as long as Franke's has without damn good reason, people. Are things here a bit on the bland side? Maybe, yes, but DO try to remember the demographic. (P.S.: If you want hot sauce, vinegar, black pepper, etc., they're omnipresent here and scarcely a state secret.) COMFORT FOOD OF THIS HIGH QUALITY? I'm pretty sure it keeps this terrestrial sphere spinning on its axis.

I went in to Sack-It for breakfast this morning, ordered two fried eggs--OVER MEDIUM. This is what I received. I didn't realize that "over medium" eggs came with the yolks busted. Plus the attitudes of the workers, not very pleasant. And, the prices are way more expensive than nearby breakfast spots. I just want good food, at good prices, with a smile. Is that too much to ask??? They need to get their s**t together!

Staff seemed very irrated . Food was good but cold . Place was clean
