Mt Ida Cafe

We were just passing thru and thought we’d try a little roadside cafe and this is one of the best ones we’ve ever eaten at! Clean, cute and everything we ordered was excellent! The chicken fry was just like my grandma ‘s and the bbq rivaled any from Tulsa. Just sad it’s so far away from where we live

I was just driving through. Stopped in, got the special of the day which was fried chicken strips. It was quite good. Pleasant service and cute antique decor

Fast service, good food, and surprisingly cheap. Wish I would have gotten more entree, but I think that might be a regional thing.

We were driving through and this place was packed so we stopped usually a good sign right? Well it was a good stop I had the hot beef plate with mashed potatoes and a salad very filling so much food for the price. They had the Yankee chicken fried steak sandwich. That thing was crazy good this is definitely a hometown cafe there was some regulars in there playing cribbage on their lunch break Very cozy place, the only thing that would have took it over the edge would have been a hot pot belly stove.😉 Definitely would stop again.
