Franklin Christian Pre-School

Franklin Christian is an amazing preschool. My daughter started there when she turned 2.5, and almost immediately, we noticed a huge change in her, for the better. Going in, she struggled socially, usually acting shy or even aggressive since she felt overwhelmed around others. Since starting at FCP, she is so much more confident and open around other children. Mrs. Carter, the 2-3 teacher, worked so hard to not only understand our daughter but inspired her to be the best version of herself. I remember the director, Lori, telling me at our very first school visit that the teachers treat the kids as though they are their own kids. When my daughter ran a fever at school one day, I ran in to find my daughter wrapped in a blanket, being rocked on Mrs. Carter’s lap. Mrs. Carter didn’t know what was causing my daughter’s fever but continued to be her parent until I got there without any hesitation. Academically, our daughter has made huge growth, as well. She knows all of her letters, most of her phonic sounds, numbers 1-10, and can even count to ten in Spanish! The school events and concerts are adorable, the field trips are memorable, and the cost is beyond worth it. If you’re looking for a preschool where your child will feel safe, learn a ton, and blossom into a kind, caring kindergartener, look no further.

Both of my sons attended Franklin Christian and we had a fabulous experience. The director and all of the staff were loving, helpful and warm. The school provided a nurturing Christian environment where my children were able to learn and grow socially, emotionally, spiritually and academically. The director has created a program with a unique blend of structure, free choice, core academics, enrichment activities, religion and fun. When my sons graduated to first grade, they were very well prepared and met with great success at their elementary school. I would highly recommend Franklin Christian to anyone looking for an exceptional educational experience!

BEST PRESHOOL-Franklin Christian continues to provide such positive experiences each day for our family. Our 2 1/2 year old cannot wait to go to school! The environment is so safe, caring and nurturing. From the moment you walk in the door you know all of the teachers, the director and all staff truly care about your child. The learning experience has been wonderful and I can see the growth in my toddler. The teachers are so detailed with the curriculum and the art projects are very creative and my little one loves music class. The teachers are patient, encouraging and want to see your child thrive and grow. I would highly recommend sending your children to this fabulous school that dedicates themselves to your child. The core values at Franklin Christian are what you want from a school and you can see how they treat each child with love and respect. I am so thankful to have found Franklin Christian and our daughter will continue to grow here for many years to come. All of the staff is truly extraordinary!!!

Great school, caring leadership and faculty! This school has held a strong track record for the last several decades as one of the premier preschool/kindergartens in Southeast Michigan. I've had the unique opportunity to get to know the founder and core leadership of the school and think the world of the quality of education they promote, as well as their values that they instill within the children who attend. So appreciative to have this group here in the local Birmingham/Bloomfield community.

Our young 5 attended Franklin Christian as a part of their Kindergarten class and I couldn't be more satisfied with the positive experience. She ended the year reading, counting to well over 100, identifying letters and making the corresponding sounds, as well as having a greater interest in learning more about math and science. Even her art skills progressed throughout the year. In addition, their music programs (presented throughout the year) were a joy for my child and all the parents. She is more socially prepared for a classroom than she was at the beginning of the year and was taught how to behave appropriately in a school setting. The staff (all of them!) are top notch professionals. Overall a stellar educational experience!
