My Grandson is taking flying lessons there.
He says he Loves it so I'm giving him a flying lessons for his Birthday. He wants to become a pilot and join the Air Force. This is perfect for him to see if that's what he really wants to do.

Every time I go there I love every minute! Who wouldn't love seeing planes land and take off when you are just getting out of your own car? :-)

FFC is a great place to fly. There are many flight schools in the world- some have newer airplanes, larger staffs and fancier facilities than here, but what makes this place great is that it combines a talented, experienced and dedicated staff with a friendly, welcoming and accommodating mentality. As a result, it is not only easy to learn on your own schedule and budget, but it is truly fun, not just to fly, but to spend time here. Students often find new friends among their fellow students and instructors, and most continue to fly here, often pursuing further training as well.
The family feel carries through to the approach to most things. Instructors are well versed and adapt smoothly to a variety of students and learning styles. Maintenance is performed expertly and the mechanics are very good at sharing information and explaining what is needed. The front desk knows how things work and is always ready to help. Management takes a hands-on and personal approach, and is often on site participating in the day-to-day. But the real standout is that with the friendly, outgoing, low-pressure approach, they haven't lost or compromised professionalism or efficiency in their training. The school can teach you what you want (and need) to know as quickly as you can learn it, and will work at every turn to optimize the bang for your buck.
If this sounds like an advertisement, so be it. I am undoubtedly a fan and supporter of FFC, and I wish them well. But rest assured, I write this only because in my experience it has been true. If you want to learn to fly, resume lessons abandoned in the past, brush up, try something new, or just find a place to rent or have your own plane maintained, you owe it to yourself to give these people a shot, and on top of it all, their location at KFDK is convenient for a variety of reasons.
In short - I'm a very satisfied customer, who has undoubtedly become a friend. But the friendship is the result of the stellar treatment and experience I've received here, not the other way around. Give them a call, and I'll see you out on the ramp.
