We were driving down the highway past this flight school and one of the airplanes went to land and just missed hitting the cars in front of us since the plane was so low. Very scary. I called to let the school know and was told, "Well they have to get pretty low to land." Yeah, I get that, but the key is to land in the right place. Worried that this person may one day be flying an aircraft above people.

Fantastic little airport in a perfect place - please keep it open as so many other smaller airports are now closed due to urban sprawl!

Freeway is One of the finest place to learn how to fly, They have the best instructors of metro area , they are friendly, and assists everyone who's interested in learning , from the beginning until finish your procedures of every single steps of the License.

If you get one of the bad instructors, don't get discouraged, look for another one. I felt like I was being strung along as time went by. Left and took my business elsewhere.

I got my husband an intro flight lesson (they have 30 and 60 minute options) for his birthday. Instructor was professional. Staff was friendly. We flew out towards Annapolis and my husband got to experiment with the controls and gain basic understanding of piloting. Very exciting and well worth it!
