Fresh Seafood Co Market & Restaurant

I have lived in/near Charleston all my life and I've never stepped foot inside the Fresh Seafood Restaurant in Jefferson because, let's face it, from the outside it's not somewhere you want to be. If you can even find it at all. BUT after visiting the restaurant I can definitely say, "Don't judge a book by its cover."  I was still questioning my decision to make this my husband's and my 'lunch date' place of the month, however after walking up the stairs I was pleasantly surprise by a decent river view, alabet the rain, and I felt like we had stepped foot in a seaside restaurant at the beach. The food was DELICIOUS, fresh, and expertly cooked. The prices were very reasonable as well. The staff was equally as impressive knowledgeable and courteous, which is hard to find anymore. To say we were impressed is an understatement. We will return again and again - and encourage everyone who reads this to do the same.

Best fish in this area. Service is friendly and fast. I am a regular at this establishment.

The building was dirty and in dire need of repairs. The roof leaks and the rest room had no heat. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Fresh fish, shrimp, scallops, and all your seafood faces and the Jefferson location has an AMAZING riverfront view.
