TRUCKERS: do not listen to the lady at the scale when she says to back in to Gate 7 from the street, the gate will be on your right and there's no to turn around, with a bunch of cars parked on the street, which means you'd have to blind side. Instead pull in to the gate and do a regular alley dock
So when yu first go in to gate 1 . Drive onto the scale . Stay on the scale and go inside. She’s gonna say go to gate 7 and blindside back in but yu don’t have to do that . Make a left off of the scale and your gonna leave out of the gate but keep straight. The next gate yu get to that is open will be gate 7 . Pull in there and do a alley dock to whatever spot is open . Someone else posted this pic and it was helpful.
We had been with Friedman's for many many years. This last year they started charging us excessive overages for just the tiniest amount of trash peaking over the top sometimes deserved as well. We cancelled due to this and today, I thought they left a bin and messaged them, they are now trying to charge me $50 because Sylvia took it upon herself to send someone out to our property even after she pulled our pictures online knowing there was no need or approval to come out. I have reached out and will again reach out Monday to try and resolve. If not, I will attach all communication to show their Sylvia lack of customer service and charging for services not requested.
I hate to throw anybody under the bus but this company is totally unprofessional. I only worked 2 days within that time frame everything was sketchy from their trucks, they’re backed up with so much work, HR didn’t know I was working the list goes on. Don’t waste your time applying for this company not to mention they don’t want to pay me for the days I worked. I’m surprised they’re still in business.
After fire told Mark my brother lives across the street directly he's been homeless for 2 days at McDonald's he said if I don't keep my voice down he's going to hang up on me I told him I'm upset my brother's homeless because of your fire he said he didn't start the fire rude. I told him all we want is his insurance companies telephone number refuse to give it
An absolutely awful company. Terrible rates if they even pay at all and horrible service, they straight up don't come out to pick up when you already have to call weeks in advance and then they don't have anything scheduled and you have to wait more weeks. They refuse to help in any way and are one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. Find a better company who can actually do their job and treats their customers well
How can their President, Morris Friedman, stand to say, after the largescale fire at their plant that their facility is, and quote, "Damaged...[but] we are open and servicing every single customer today"... I do hope that OSHA reigns down upon your negligence and does indeed NOT let this gross lack of safety die in the evergrowing forgetfulness of modern society. I would hope that your public statement as mentioned above does not encapsulate your true feelings. While by reports, no one was injured, I do believe an apology of great extent should not be forgotten to the city of Phoenix by Mr. Friedman. I'm but a simple construction worker, but if my ever basic safety training knowledge is not enough, I do hope you reprimand your actions as not to see further harm from your company's actions. Good day, and please make amends.
God I hope I never pick up load from this shipper, first you have to get scaled empty on site then they tell you park outside and wait for them to call you 4-5 hours wait but when you get dock door they load you quickly.
It pays to be in recycling. Two Tesla’s parked outside. They loaded me pretty quick after I weighed in but parking is a little tight since you’re in a neighborhood trying to back in. The neighbors must hate this place. Overall it wasn’t a bad place to load.
Worst company to work for in the Recycling Industry! They have a supervisor named Ralph Peña who is rude, unprofessional, undereducated, mean, and the worst you can think of. He works you to the fullest all day with no breaks! He does illicit activities at work like drinking alcohol with other co workers maybe, some drug dealing too. You need to be on his good side to have a happy job if not he'll fire you on the spot! If he doesn't like you and you say something about what he does you will be miserable until he fires you. Upper management lets him do what he wants. HR is so unprofessional they're not even involved in anything with employees and they're in another state. They abuse production workers and hire through agencies with false documents. Horrible!! People know your rights and blow the WISTLE!
