Friendly Pets

The only reason I came into this particular pet store is because it is very close to my job. I knew coming in that this place is grossly overpriced. I was willing to spend extra just for comvience. I grabbed some things on sale and noticed that the sale tag said 20% off with membership card. I asked the lady up front if I could sign up for the membership and she let me fill out my information on a card. I told her able the sale but she told me that my membership wouldn’t go through right away. I asked if it would go through the next day because I was thinking of coming back if it would mean saving some money. She said no, it might take a couple weeks. Okay so that pissed me off- I proceeded to pay for everything full price. Then I came back that same night for something I forgot to pick up the first time. This item was also on sale so I asked the cashier (another lady) if I would be able to get the sale price. She asked if I had a membership with them and I told her yes- I just filled out the information card a few hours earlier. She found the card, typed my information in on the computer and my sale price went through immediately. I’m not sure why the other cashier couldn’t do that the first time. If a customer is willing to give you their personal information for a sale price they see RIGHT THEN, it doesn’t make any sense for them not to get the sale price with that purchase. I guess the other lady didn’t want to take the time to put my info in. Bad customer service and I will never return

Aliza was extremely rude. I was about to give compliment comparing them to another place. She rudely cut me off by saying...Well, we're not that place. So I cut the compliment off, asked her name and left. Wow, about to upgrade my aquarium to the largest one. Sale taken away due to rude employee.

Best pet store! Don't read the other reviews. Just go and see for yourself. Tons of animals and good advice.

Ok, this store is freaking amazing. They have so many animals, and at first i was really concerned because i thought it wasn't possible they took care of them all, but i looked close as i walked around, i couldn't find anything that looked ill. (Also noticed a lot of employees come and go from the back room) Of course I can't be sure non of them where in perfect healthy because obviously i'm just going on sight, but i was actually really skeptical at how they had all these animals and all seemed to be doing amazing. Puppies had clean shiny, fluffy coats, very active and playful, no cloudy eyes, no bald spots, no infections i could see, clean cages. Guinea pigs, playful, had hideaway houses and toys, clean bedding, (I've had Guinea pig before, this is no easy task. It takes effort). They where more than happy to let you pet, no signs saying otherwise, but i checked, the lady welcomed it, just asked i kept them inside/above tanks as to ensure they didn't escape. I LOVE this. I always hated buying pets from stores that wouldn't let you pet around and have contact with them before you chose. Kept males/adults/young ones separate, all had enough room, wouldn't have more than 4-5 per tank. Their beta fish where actually the healthiest ones I've seen in a Longgg time. Their cats had nice cages, toys, beds, perfect coats. Their animals are quite expensive but if i could afford it i would. My parents went there 19 years ago and bought a puppy (Webster) for $400. He lived a long and healthy, active life. Came with a bunch of papers. Only thing is, If they could afford a bit more space for their puppies and cats, it'd be perfect. I aim to go to NC state to become a veterinarian and specialize in animal rehabilitation, and i really would have loved to work there, but its 20 minutes away, and i don't have my license yet, my parent's couldn't make that work with their schedules. I really recommend this place if you love animals and have time to kill.

Bought a beautiful golden retriever from here. Noticed he had blood in his stool. He has parvo... We only had him for 1 day and he's already in the hospital for 2-5 days... Hope he pulls through. It's sad that they really do sell sick puppies here. .
