Frog Lake Day Use/Picnic Site

Awesome day!....float tube, 3wt fly rod, 20+ fish (all released) in 3hrs. A few 18+rs....to much fun....

I wasn't that impressed with the lake. Could hear the semis on 26 all day and night. We (3 adults, no kids) stayed at the campground too, the most the sites were pretty large. We went during the week, so it wasn't crowded. It did get pretty cold overnight. On the north side of the lake (off the trail from campground) there were thousands of tiny frogs. Super crazy to see! Best part for me, trailhead for some great hikes & the PCT are very close.

Day use area on frog lake with picnic area, boat launch and Pit toilet. Great view of mt.hood and a nice swimming hole

Great place to visit, fish and let the kids swim around. It's a natural lake, so it's not very deep, and you can't put a boat with a motor in, but it's beautiful and not too busy (unlike Trillium Lake) with a great view of Mount Hood.
