Full Belly Bistro

Run here and taste a very high level of culinary excellence! I ordered a salmon Cobb salad. The tenderness of the fish in harmony with crisp bacon, fresh avocado and veggies made this perhaps the BEST Cobb Salad that I have ever tasted. Thank goodness the wine was available! It went with the avocado dressing as a compliment to this great plate. Some kind of Red Blend held its own! Wine made the meal! This may look like a gas station in recovery but it is really a hidden gem. Get here fast before the tourists decend.

I love Chris, the Chef, and Erica. Chris' Salmon is spectacular. It never disappoints me. This place makes you feel as if you just walked into your Mother's Kitchen. Erica remembers the customer's names, and this is my husband and my favorite go to restaurant. The brussel sprouts are exceptional too. AND he just started caring a new selection of wines. The Reisling was smooth and perfect.

Great pork chop, decent green beans, cold potatoes, abysmal service. She never told us her name and acted as if our presence was an imposition. Because I'm a server, I tipped 20%, because I know that anyone can have an off day. But I sincerely felt unwanted and am unlikely to dine here again.

I used to come here a few days a week since I worked close by. I have not been in months now since it seems like they keep jacking up their prices. Even during the off season. Don't get me wrong, everyone there is super friendly and never had a problem with the food but the need to get it together. Lately, every time I look at their specials it's a joke. 8 dollars for a grilled cheese and soup? Really?? Why would I do that when across the highway Surf Bagel and get one for $6.50? $9 dollars for an egg sandwich with chips??? For that I can't even have fries??! Are you kidding? I would just go to Lewes Fishouse instead and get a fresh fish sandwich with 2 sides for $8.99. Wake up guys! It would be nice to have some variety eating locally but every time I see your "specials" menu I never want to come back. Which is why I have not been back...
