Solid Mexican food. Service was not so good tonight! Server appeared to take our order and just like magic, she was gone! Love their sopaipillas with sweet cream cheese and honey!Food: 4/5

It's always hard finding a good and decently priced Mexican restaurant, most places hit one or the other but Garcias figured out the formula to include both. Their happy hour prices are amazing as well. I had angelique as my server and whatever they are paying her it is not enough. She is insanely attentive and very fast and friendly. I will be adding this place into my rotation whenever I'm in phoenix

Stopped by just after 9pm with about 10 people total for my buddie's 5 year sober anniversary. It didn't take long to get us a table and the service was quick and quaint. The manager stepped in to take our orders since they had a small staff on hand with it being late. Her and the other waitress were both kind and respectable. I tried the fried ice cream for the first time and what a delight it was. I've been missing out. They brought my friend a complimentary ice cream for his sober birthday and we sang him his much deserved jingle. We rounded out the night with group photos the waitresses took on our behalf. I also tried the quesadilla and the mini chimis while there. Both were exquisite. 10/10 would recommend.

Service was quick and pleasant, food was delicious with great portions. This restaurant had both quality & quantity at an amazing price. Definitely recommend eating here.

Our favorite Mexican food restaurant closed a few years ago and we couldn't find a place as good that is close to home and family friendly. So we decided to go a little further from home and try Garcia's at 46 st/Thomas. It was so great. The food is really good, the service was the best; fast, exactly what we ordered and delivered by really nice people. We have found our new Mexican food place; Garcia's at 4601 E Thomas, Phoenix Vegetarian options: The food is traditional so there is fish and bean dishes. Kid-friendliness: Great for the kids. Parking: Plenty

Not a bad place. But not as good as the one at Arizona Mills. The person who seated us didn't seem very enthusiastic but the servers were outstanding. The steak fajitas were fantastic. I had the enchiladas and they were a little bland and watery. Even though they had sauce they didn't have much flavor.

Will definitely go again..went for a birthday celebration and the food was delicious and the service was great. Food arrived super quick too. My only issue would be that there is a weird, not great, smell, but it's not so bad I couldn't stay.Food: 5/5

It took forever to get our drinks. The Patron Margarita was terrible and noticed the table next to us returned theirs, as well. No apology was was given, unlike the waiter serving the next table, who offered to remake them and apologized. Our waiter took the drink from our table and we noticed he tasted it when he returned it to the bar. The food was decent, but the Red Chili Colorado I ordered had approximately 7 small pieces of beef in it. They made up for it by overflowing the dish with chili broth. It was more like a soup. The refried beans were excellent, but I never go to a Mexican restaurant just for the beans. The only good point was the food came quickly, almost beat the drinks to the table. Service was lacking. We felt the waiter was new to the job.

I've been to this restaurant several times and it's been nice. Unfortunately, last time I was there it was horrible because of the server. She kept pressuring me to eat faster and even though we came in about an hour before they closed, right at exactly 9:00 she said loudly in the middle of the dining area "We're locking the doors." We left right then but she might as well of said get out. I'm not about to become a Karen but that could have definitely been handled much differently, just saying. It was so uncomfortable and I hope I don't ever get her as a server again.
