Garden Gate Tea Room

This place of a hidden gem. The food was absolutely amazing. Right amount for lunch and or dinner. They do offer tea parties but you have to book at least 24 hours ahead. Owner is about to open a 24Hour dinner soon and also owns a local bookstore. To the previous review (Jennifer) regarding the landscaping; the garden has been out sick and is of old age. The waitress and the owner have been trying to maintain the grounds on their own.

The outside is in need of a facelift (landscaping) and there isn’t much for parking. When you enter there are so many things on the wall and around tables - it’s cluttered and the lamps are dusty. The food is subpar and the service is slow. However, the staff is very friendly and accommodating !

Had the 1/2 Cuban and lobster bisque today. As always the service and food was wonderful. Hard to go wrong here.
