I have been to Gary’s for routine maintenance and for irregular engine issues—oil change, tire patch, new brakes, exhaust sensor, fuel filters—and they are always fantastic. They have fair prices, are upfront about costs, do not upsell unnecessary work, and offer great referrals if there is any work they cannot do. They are a small shop where I have always been able to drop my car in the morning and pick it up after work. I have recommended Gary’s to friends who also have good experiences. Thank you to the folks at Gary’s for your honesty and quality work!
Going to be my go-to place. Came here to get a brake issue diagnosed as a walk in. Staff was quick to get back to me to explain what they saw and were happy to show me and explain to me in person what was going on with the pads and rotors. I had just had new pads and break service five months previously with a chain auto service group, so I elected to the use the limited warranty. But, because I was so concerned about driving the car far to see what was wrong, I had taken it to Gary’s. They were so courteous and encouraged me to take pictures to show to the place with the warranty.
This place is great! Dan explained to us in detail what was wrong with our car, and did amazing and quick work on it. We will be coming back to him for all our future car troubles.
After a lifetime of dreading auto repairs, I am so lucky to have this place within four blocks of me. Blew out a cooling hose - Hannah, I think?, at the front desk welcomed me in, took down my problem, promised a diagnosis-related call, which came in the time estimated, and fully repaired the next day. It's not a glamorous looking place, but step into the glitzy lobby of a Ford dealer's service department and guess how many days and additional hundreds of dollars it will take to get your vehicle back.Service: Auto water leak repair
It’s hard to find a legit mechanic. I’d give them more stars if I could. I haven’t worked on a car in years due to not having a garage and also cars are computerized and locked down. I don’t have the space or tools anymore. Our car broke down, we looked up 20 or so places and read reviews about this place. I knew it was the fuel pump, but we got quotes from $900 to $2k. Our car isn’t even worth $2k KKB. They gave us a realistic quote. A realistic time for delivery. They came in about $100 under the quote, informed us the whole way. Never tried to upsell. Not once. Never lied to us. It’s not easy to find a solid mechanic. Transparent pricing, work is solid with a good warranty. We will always and forever bring our cars here. Thank you Gary’s!
I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with Gary's Auto Service. I have returned to this shop multiple times and refuse to go anywhere else. Dan is the man!! He is very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and he genuinely cares about delivering good customer service. He's also fair or more than fair when it comes to pricing. They are extremely dependable and honest with their work. I had a Ford Focus break down on the side of the road. They were able to have a tow truck there right away to assist me. The engine was blown which at that point I decided to salvage it. Dan not only took the time to find a company to buy my piece of junk, but always towed my car to the salvage yard at no cost!!! My current car Mazda3 has had minor issues and the only place I will take it is to Gary's Auto. I never have to wait long or worry about if its really fixed! They always take GREAT care of me and have never done me wrong. I can always count on them. I always leave satisfied and with a smile. I would recommend this auto shop to anyone and everyone! Thank you Gary's Auto service. We will see you next time! :
