Gatos and Beans

Gatos and Beans is an awesome facility in Avondale that partners with a rescue to house and adopt out cats. The cats were all really sweet, calm and friendly. The coffee was nice and I just really enjoy the concept. The employees and patrons were all very friendly. When you adopt a cat they are spayed/neutered and microchipped for a really affordable fee. I love the cat play areas and all the toys provided. The cats are well cared for in a serene setting. I recommend making a reservation which is very simple online.

Get an hour or half hour of time in the cat room, comes with a drink upgrades available for $3. Watching people interact with the cats is pretty great too though. There's a very small seating area where you can enjoy your coffee and watch cats through the window.

I had a great time at this cat cafe. I love the concept, and all the kittens were friendly and affectionate. The staff is very accommodating and I would definitely visit again.

The staff is so so SO friendly. I personally have never interacted with cats before and I believe it was Mark who gave me a bit of a run down. After my hour ended I asked to stay longer was having too much fun, bonded with an older kitty named Laura , didn’t end up using the full hour and offered to pay the half of the time. They told me not to worry about it. I think the owner was there and made me a great iced coffee at her recommendation. Overall great establishment and I see myself becoming a regular.

Everyone here was super kind and friendly! The entire space is very clean and well-taken care of, including the cat room. The kitties are spoiled rotten and so sweet! The coffee was great too! Such a fun experience, I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Cats are all very cute The people that run the place are very kind Murals and decor of the building are beautiful and cute Will definitely visit again!!

The atmosphere of this place is amazing. all the cats are non-aggressive and very chill, the area has plenty of room to enjoy playing with the cats, and you can feel the genuine love the owners have put into this place. the only gripe i have was the coffee felt a little watered down and was lukewarm when I got it, but it tasted great.

Adorable quirky coffee shop featuring cats! That you can pet! They have a cat room you can spend an hour in for a small fee for quality cat-petting time while you enjoy your coffee. Totally win/win.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I came all the way from georgia to this place: first of all: they had literally just 4 cats inside and like 20 people at the same time, so obviously there’s no room. There’s not enough chairs so you’ll be just standing up awkwardly in that tiny space. They have beams on the ceiling so cats spend all the time up there. They charged me $12.00 dollars to get inside and includes a drink, which was just black coffee. Very upsetting, had to leave after 5 minutes because there was nothing to do inside.

I got to sit down and talk with the owner. She radiates kindhearted energy. These kitties are all hand picked from Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue to be placed in this wonderful café! $10 for a coffee and an hour with the kitties! You get to spend time and fall in love with a friend before deciding if you'd like to adopt them and take them home!
