Geek Squad

Autotech experience was a nightmare. Scheduled the first appointment 2 weeks in advance, only to have them call a couple days before and tell me they didn't have enough time allotted to do my install. Rescheduled for 2 weeks from that date, and told Drew to order everything I would need based on the install I wanted. He emailed me the invoice; I show up to the install and he wants to know if I came in and ordered the parts. He said he couldn't order anything from Best Buy (he literally works inside of Best Buy). He then tries to reschedule again for another week and a half out. Also, this is after I had already ordered the parts once from Amazon and had them with me, but I was told they weren't "Best Buy parts," so I couldn't use them. I would rather install it myself than continue getting the run-around.

I came in to have my tablet looked at and the geek squad employee told me that my tablet was unfixable. I took it to fanelli boys in the mall and told me to get a new sims card and reset it and it works fine. So i will never be back!!

The store was very nice inside and most of the staff seemed genuinely helpful, but I detailed a problem I had and the specifics I was given for which product I needed to buy, and the representative helping me instead of just saying he wasn't certain, assured me that what I needed was the most expensive product. I asked how sure he was and he responded 100%. Needless to say, I'm happy that best buy has a decent return policy.

Good as geek squad goes, but that is not saying much. Go to an independant repair and service place instead for more knowledgeable staff and less annoying sales people.
