The Gem Cutters Guild of Baltimore, Inc., a non-profit organization, was established in order to allow its members to gain knowledge and skills in gem cutting and in identifying and evaluating lapidary materials. We've since expanded our interests to include gaining a knowledge of jewelry, and jewelry fabrication. Through formal classes which are open to the public, field trips, exhibitions, and cooperation with other societies, we endeavor to further our own knowledge and that of the general public.
We'd love to have you as a member of the Gem Cutters Guild of Baltimore! In order to join us, prospective members must attend three (3) meetings during a twelve (12) month period. An application for membership may be submitted during the third meeting.
* Annual dues for individual membership is $18.00
* Annual dues for family membership is $30 for two adults living in the same home and children under the age of eighteen (18) years residing with them.
* There is a $10 initiation fee per adult which covers the cost of a membership badge, bylaws and roster.
Dues and initiation fees are payable upon application to membership. But you don't have to join to attend meetings (though we'd love it if you did!)
