Terrific experience at a great price for a jewelry appraisal. I had never had an appraisal before and didn’t know where to start - I was so pleased at how easy and affordable it was. I have total confidence in the analysis, I really enjoyed talking with the expert who helped me, and got all the documentation I needed for insurance. Bonus: he cleaned my ring and it sparkled afterward. Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful experience getting my wedding and engagement rings appraised for insurance. Having such sentimental value apart from their monetary value, I really wanted to make sure they are insured. The jewellery never left my sight during the process and each step and result was explained to me in detail. They also provided me with a leaflet of very common questions you should ask when getting your jewellery insured.

I came in to have my engagement ring appraised for insurance purposes. Travis was very helpful, knowledgable and thorough. The appraisal process was easy and the ring never leaves your sight. Female owned business! Fast, efficient, quality appraisal of my diamond earrings at a fair price. I was a walk in customer and they were very accommodating about squeezing me into their busy schedule. Lastly, I was in market for lab diamond and they gave me a solid recommendation for a source.

My husband brought in 2 rings but before then, I had requested an appointment and told them that we were bringing in 2 rings- one diamond and one a ruby/diamond ring. My husband said Shoko was wonderful- she appraised the diamond ring well, cleaned it and was professional and efficient. However, the ruby ring, she noted that she couldn't appraise it and couldn't even confirm if it was a real ruby although she did clean it so that was very nice of her. I don't know why we weren't made aware of this prior to the trip in- I have a confirmation email that acknowledges a ruby ring, a note about pricing to appraise the ruby ring and then an appraiser who was unable to evaluate it. It was very odd. Review edited after response by owner: I appreciate the response and as I mentioned before, my husband had nothing but good things to say about Shoko. I do think it's important to provide a disclaimer for people who are bringing in gemstone jewelry that it may not be evaluable, though! It takes time and effort to go to the laboratory, especially as it is in a very very busy part of Manhattan. However, regardless, thank you for your insights.
