Gentle Dental at Grand River Avenue

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my dog. I had a very disappointing experience there. I was scheduled twice, only to find out my doctor wasn't there either time. They repeatedly pushed for a cleaning, ignoring the specific treatment I wanted. Additionally, they took pictures of my mouth at both appointments, knowing my doctor wasn't even in. After finally getting in the chair, I was told to get up and wait another four hours. When I complained, I was told that the office is packed because they're "obviously doing something good." However, it seems the office is packed because they overbook and schedule everyone for the same time slot. I feel like they are just collecting insurance money at this point. This office clearly lacks organization and respect for patients' time. Doctors should prioritize their patients' needs and respect their time.

This place is by far the best place I have ever been too for dental work. The staff : Especially Ms. Sheryl know what they are doing. I was not nervous or concerned about my medical condition I felt they would hear me and my concerns and I have not see the doctor as of yet. They were able to make sure I was seen in a squeezed in appointment. I love see all the pretty black faces and warm environment

I got my wisdom teeth removed today and they said they will call my prescription in I wait called more than 9 time no answer and I am in excruciating pain had to go to the er were im still at because they never gave me any antibiotics or any pain meds deffently sueing for mal practice never again will I come here worst experience of my life

Horrible experience ever in my life I would never go back there they are very unprofessional and gives you false information just so they can collect there money they had me and my son sitting in the lobby for 3 hours then I proceeded to get called to the back just for them to only take pictures of my son teeth remove us out the room where we was waiting on the dr to come in just for them to put someone else in that room and start working on them and making me and my son wait another 2 hours in the next damn room I wouldn’t recommend nobody to go there cause the mtf gone have the nerve to ask me did I want to reschedule after waiting for 5 hours max after the mtf receptionist told me the wait was only 45 minutes NEVER TF AGAIN.!!!!

First time ever taking my son there, went in because he was having pain from his wisdom tooth, he was told that there was nothing they could do that day. Schedule him for a cleaning. Went in for the cleaning and they ended up pulling 2 wisdom teeth from the opposite side of his mouth that wasn’t giving him any problems and 3 days later he ended up in the hospital for a weeks stay, where they had to operate on his jaw because he had gotten an infection from the extraction of the 2 teeth.

Absolutely horrible. Visited this place only 2 times and I'm currently as im typing this in the er because of massive blood clots that are from a tooth my seriously badly trained dentist messed with. I have been at the er since 12 am and it is currently nearly 4:50. I will never come back to this place even if I'm dying from pain. The visits to this place has caused me more pain than necessary for my oral care....below is the first clot I've had 2 more form since at the er. The assistants are amazing but the dentist themselves poorly trained and need to go back to school asap.

I did a walk-in for tooth extraction which went great it was painless and quick! The staff was amazing and so was Dr. Oliver I was nervous because it was my first time. She provided comfort and was even able to explain what I might feel and hear. The experience was great all together it was a wait because I did walk-in so they had to squeeze me in where they could. I can honestly say I’m satisfied and so happy I’m not in pain anymore!!!

This is the sorry dental company that I've ever been to. Everytime I come here for an appointment there's a different doctor working in my mouth. They don't inform you of that, they barely call to confirm appointments. They didn't call me because they had the wrong number in system, but has called me before so I'm wondering if they even attempted to call or did they really have the wrong number. Then when I see a new doctor sitting in the chair I ask her "are you going to be doing my feelings?" She got offended and got smart talking you saying it like you don't want me to do them. First off heffa youre a new person and I have the right to ask questions. They don't inform you of the important things. In my eyes that's important to know that a new doctor is about to perform a procedure in my mouth. Some are very rude, but not all. Then I was told I keep getting new doctors because of covid-19 that's not true. Dr. Oliver Is her name, while trying to numb me I feel the needle go through my tounge,I make a nose to let hey know she tells me she didn't; but I've gotten fillings before I know how it feels. Then after coming back she hit the air on my teeth which I'm sensitive to anything cold,to start the procedure I said oh and she got mad and said she can't do anything for me. Her attitude was already negative from the first conversation we encountered. I'm waiting on corporate to give me a call back as soon as possible. The manager at the grand River office didn't want to give me the corporate number so I had to call a different location to get it. Y'all have some sorry unprofessional people working for y'all company and its said. I'll never recommend anyone else to this company. Exactly why I took my daughter out,I should've followed suit.

Gentle Dental was not only prompt as possible for my emergency appointment. But also very kind and explained everything I needed to know about the procedure and care. This was my first ever tooth extraction and they made it the most pleasant experience it could have been. 150% Recommended!

My Hygienist was perfect Staff and the front desk were warm and friendly. I will continue to come back . Follow up had two teeth pulled Shawnee was excellent and helped me calm Down with the procedure. Dr Kochaki is amazing And the front staff is amazing and always helpful
