Gentle Dental at Jefferson Avenue

They are really good and efficient! I made the appointment at noon and complete everything in 1.5hours in the afternoon. You don’t need to wait for a long time as other hospital!! Doctor Buhay is very nice and warm. Victoria is so easygoing and make you feel relaxed. Receptionists are professional and efficient! They don’t waste patients’ time! They don’t waste their money on fancy interiors! I don’t have dental insurance. Here is a affordable place. Recommend!

I LOVE Dr. Waller-Smith. She greeted me personally with a cheery smile. Told me they would take me right back and she escorted me promptly to the back and got started on my anesthesia for my filling. By the time, I was done it was exactly one hour and I was smiling and in good spirits after she was done. She is one of the most professional, sweet, and pleasant dentists I have EVER had in my life. Most importantly, she was GENTLE and I am in NO PAIN whatsoever two days later. She just became my dentist and I would follow her wherever she goes now, she is AMAZING!

I really enjoyed my experience at Gentle Dental. The staff was very professional and friendly. Shanekquah and Dr. Hanan were amazing. Through my entire treatment they made sure that I was comfortable. They also did a very good job explaining the process as they were preforming the treatment. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to Gentle Dental.

I love Gentle Dental! I came in as a same day appointment and I was treated so very well!! My problem was handled IMMEDIATELY, and I feel a much better about myself. Ms. Nicole was extremely encouraging, friendly, and a great staff member. I loved my Dr. Hanan! She's on top of everything and wants the best for her patients! I definitely recommend this place!! I would advise that if you are looking for a dentist to look elsewhere Dr.Palm's office in Huntington Woods for example. I went in in February with no issues or pain for a routine cleaning and was told that I would need a couple fillings. I was not surprised and scheduled it for mid-March. I went in in March and suffered through THE most painful filling I have ever had. I was given extra doses of novocaine and it still would not alleviate the pain. I went home and when the numbing agent wore off I found that my teeth were unbelievably sensitive I literally could not eat bread!. I was unable to eat on the right side of my mouth because it hurt so bad! I had to go back again to have the doctor readjust the filling. I scheduled the appointment about a week later after work and when I got there it was clear that the doctor was in a rush to get out of the office herself. I again suffered as she hurriedly drilled down on my teeth. I hoped that when I got home this time I would be able to eat normally again but to my disappointment my teeth were just as sensitive. It is now the end of July and since March March! I have not been able to eat normally without pain. I have found another dentist who is doing the best they can to help me fix the terrible job that was done at Gentle Dental. Though the pain has slightly improved I may unfortunately have to get a root canal to fully reverse the damage. Their receptionists are also pretty rude and do a terrible job of following up with patients. I am not the type of person to write reviews so please believe me when I say Gentle Dental has shown me THE worst dental experience in my life. I truly do not know if my teeth will ever be the same again after going there. PLEASE take heed...

Every aspect of my experience at Gentle Dental on Jefferson was amazing. From the telephone and in-person interaction with the receptionists to the office assistants and the specialists, I was immensely satisfied. I also appreciated the layout of the back office, as the open environment added a continuity of teamwork, competence and transparency. Furthermore, as someone who has worked in the medical field for over 10 years, I recognized and appreciated the sanitary procedures, the thorough explanations throughout the process of each step, and the professionalism that was shown in the overall operation of the office. I am greatly satisfied that I chose this particular establishment and I would highly recommend them for dental care.

My Dental assistant was Shanequah and she was really nice and answered all my questions while talking my X-ray pictures. Dr. Hanna was also very kind and answered my questions because I had a million of them. And Tonya did my first cleaning, she was nice and gentle and didn't take long. Everybody was very nice and professional

I enjoyed my experience at this location. I thought the staff were kind and my procedure and cleaning were nothing short of pleasant. Also, Dr. Waller-Smith is very sweet but very professional. She seemed very genuine and caring of her job and patients. I was at peace!

It was an overall great experience. The staff was extremely nice && professional. Monewella the dental assistant was awesome, she made sure I felt comfortable. Dr. Derek is very good at what he does, I'm terrified of needles && he made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend this dental office.
