George Street Photo & Video

We loved working with George Street -- we are based in NYC and had incredible photographers. We worked with Daniel lead, Chris asst, and Kenny videographer. Daniel was absolutely incredible to work with. He is truly a professional at what he does. I was nervous in the beginning because I didn't have any suggestions for different shots or locations to photograph at the venue, but Daniel has been to the venue many times and he took control but also made sure that we got pictures of everything that we want it. He has a gift of photography. Even seeing 10 sneak peeks that we received the day after our wedding brought us to tears. We cannot wait to see the other photographs. His photographs are warm and inviting and really just exude the love that was present that day. Thank you Daniel! Chris was amazing working with my husband and his party. Kenny made sure to film amazing moments and we know that our video will be something we cherish for the rest of our lives. The online platform made it easy to make our wedding plan, add products, and view our payments. Thank you George Street!

Photos were not great, editing was terrible: some pictures are too light, others are so dark you can't see anything; then the randoms, kids doll, etc. I have tons of folders of over 5000 total pictures to go through myself because can't tell what's what, they didn't trash the bloopers - its a mess... tons of duplicates with changed/ different file names. The personalized photo street sign, she didn't even get a close enough, to take the picture to see it? I told them I didn't want many photos, I wanted just the good highlights - I paid extra for additional hours of coverage. She missed photographing the opening of the wedding which was the tribute to my mom who we lost. Asked office after several times to help me sort these and for better edits my black bridesmaid face is mime white. They offered to give me all the original files if I signed something to not sue them. Like I want another 5000 pictures, GROSS! I didn't sign that. I'm not signing anything - very unhappy. do no recommend. Wedding was over a year ago - still no photo album ready to print.

We were married in April, and did our engagement photos the October before. Tom was our photographer for both the engagement session and the wedding, and he was so easy to work with, punctual and professional. We had issues with several of our vendors, but George Street wasn’t one of them. The photos we received from both sessions are beautiful and it’s such a nice touch to be able to save each one to a hard drive without incurring extra costs. Our only regret is not hiring a videographer through George Street! The price point is incomparable and we have no disappointments - this is a rare find in the wedding world.

Working with George Street was a great pleasure. We got the opportunity to work with two of their photographers Mae and Tony for our wedding, and were very happy with their work! Not only were the photos beautiful, but Mae and Tony were so helpful on the day of the wedding and went above and beyond their duties as photographers. It was so easy to work with them, and they made the day even better by being there. The George Street staff were also super helpful and always responded in a timely manner if we had any questions. We absolutely loved working with George Street Photo for our wedding! David and Ronald took absolutely amazing photos of our day. The day itself goes by so quickly - it's so exciting for us now to relive it through the incredible and numerous! photos they took. David especially went above and beyond. He really took the time to get to know us as a couple, and was such a joy to have at our wedding. Thank you so much! The only thing we didn't love is that the interface for where we can view/purchase photos after they're ready is definitely not user-friendly. We've been loving looking at them all, but we've been pretty frustrated when trying to figure out how to actually order albums and such. It's just finicky and the layout is odd. The photos are so worth it though!

I paid $4,000 to have two photographers at my wedding. In the contract Georgestreet said they would hand edit every photo. I ended up with 1,500 photos, 99% of which are VERY poor quality. They told me it would take 6-8 weeks to get my photos back. It was 14-weeks before I got any previews and 16-weeks before I received my whole gallery. I have been going back and forth with them for almost a year to get my photos re-edited. I’ve also asked for the unedited photos multiples times so can hire another photographer to properly edit my wedding photos. They told me my unedited photos and re-edits would be ready no later than 1/12/23. I just got off the phone with them 1/26/23 and now they’re saying it’ll be another 3-weeks which will put us at 2/16/23, almost A YEAR AND A HALF AFTER MY WEDDING. Not to mention, I wanted two photographers to capture one moment: me walking down the aisle and my grooms face when he first saw me. Did they capture that moment? Nope! I had also scheduled bridal photos scheduled with them for about 3-weeks prior to the wedding. I wanted to get in contact with my photographer to discuss time of day and lighting with him so I could reserve a time at the venue, but Georgestreet told me that I could not speak to him until a week before my wedding, which would have been after my bridal session, so I just had to guess on a time and hope the lighting would be ideal. Thankfully I have some knowledge of photography and the sunlight was perfect. But you can’t tell that from my bridal portraits because everything is white washed and desaturated. Additionally, 30-days before the wedding the most stressful period of wedding planning, they want you to have your shot list together and they make you do this weird timeline thing. I called multiple times requesting help with this and NO ONE HELPED ME. The one time I was able to successfully schedule a meeting with someone, I scheduled it for my lunch break and sat at a table staring at my phone waiting for the call. All of a sudden I had a missed call and a voicemail. My phone didn’t ring once. Apparently there is a combination you can dial with a phone number similar to *67 that will send your call straight to the person’s voicemail. So I’m assuming that is what this person did. This is not professional. If you hire Georgestreet, be prepared to go around and around with these people. They’re nice until you sign the contract, then they’re absolutely awful. At this point, I just want my unedited photos and my money back. I doubt they’ll give me my money back so I’ll settle for the unedited photos which are .JPEGs, instead of .RAW; like what kind of photography company shoots in JPEG. Oh, and by the way, your photographer does not edit your photos. They probably have some college kid back there putting Instagram filters over the whole gallery. Moral of the story: DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE CLOWNS. I should have hired my sister-in-law and her friend to shoot my wedding, because they would have done a HELL of a lot better than these “professionals”. Rant over. I added some photos so you can see what I’m talking about. The first four are from our wedding and the last four are from my bridal shoot. My photographer was excited about how my bridals turned out so he kindly edited 10 of them and texted them to me two days later. You can see that the photos he edited are saturated and vibrant. The exact same photos edited by Georgestreet are desaturated and white washed.

Very satisfied with Georges Street Photo ! The team was there to support at all stages of planning, the platform they use to plan is super user-friendly and comprehensive. Quick turn around for question. Our photographer Nick was amazing, extremely professional, made us feel comfortable right away and took great shots. A moment for ever immortalised thanks to him.

The George Street team was amazing! The Event planners and sales staff were easy to work with, our photographer and their associate were incredible and the pictures were the best part of all. Even the very small issue we ran into was handled professionally and very quickly. We can't say enough great things about our experience with George Street!
