Stopped here for some pre-wedding beverages. Was so good we had to come back for brunch. Tried the fish - was absolutely delicious. Also serve a tasty side salad. In addition, the wait staff was super friendly and fun to talk to in the bar.Food: 5/5
Food was delicious!! Appetizers were delicious didn’t even get a chance to get a picture of them!! The salmon was season, perfectly asparagus for great ! I love the decor!!! the rustic, but still modern look, my son loved the car back as seats! It’s hard to find good service these days but our server was fantastic!!
Georgia Blue is a staple in the community. I’ve visited of the surrounding area Georgia Blue’s, and I have to say this one is my favorite. The rustic industrial but modern look, gives it amazing atmosphere. The customer service and quality of the food was second to none. I will definitely be back!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
***UPDATE*** 12/10/22 As I stated in my previous review, I planned to dine here again. So today, while Christmas shopping with my husband, we decided to give it a shot. He’s not eaten here before so I really wanted to get his take on it. We were both very pleased. The wait was very short , everyone was very nice and informative. Our waitress had to leave unexpectedly, but she came to the table to apologize and let us know who would be taking care of us for the remainder of our dinner. I thought this was really considerate and professional. Her replacement was very attentive as well. Now, on to the food….. He had the Shrimp and grits, and I will tell you straight up. I hate shrimp…. BUT even I would eat this! When I say it was absolutely delicious, that would be an understatement. They’ve jazzed up the typical recipe a bit and added corn, which sounds so simple… right? Trust me, it adds so much flair. You have to try this!! I had The Mardi Gras, I was sure about this dish when I ordered it. I was torn between the Mardi Gras and the Mahi Tacos. After speaking to the waitress and her explanation of the flavors married together in this dish, I chose it, and I am so grateful that I did. The Mahi was absolutely delicious. It was cooked to perfection. I love blackened Mahi but some people tend to over cook it. Not GB , it was so tender and juicy. The spinach and tomatoes were just as good as the fish itself. I ate nearly every bite of the spinach. My husband isn’t a big fan of cooked tomatoes or spinach but even he loved this dish. Then, as if all those things weren’t enough, they lay it upon a bed of mashed potatoes! I ate so much that I was sick…. I’ve included photos below. On my next visit….I plan to try the nachos and one of the beautiful, mouthwatering, deserts that I seen. The atmosphere was great. This location was a little different than the one I visited on Lakeland. The prices are a little high but the blue plate special was awesome! We had pot roast, although it was different than what I’m use to, I would definitely eat it again. Service was friendly and efficient. However, I give the 3 stars because my friend and I arrived table for two the hostess told us it would be a minute because they were clearing a table which was fine he then left to walk toward the kitchen and about 10 minutes later a waitress walked up , walked past me and got a couple that just walked through the door and proceeded to give them our table. She didn’t ask if I had been taken care of, if I was waiting on an order, she didn’t ask anything…. Just bypassed us and sat the next couple. We were then forced to wait another 10 minutes. This wouldn’t have been an issue other than the fact that we were on our lunch break and in a hurry. ***UPDATE*** After their very sweet reply, I wanted to say that I will definitely dine here again! I really enjoyed it.
Not sure why my previous review was deleted by Google..... First time visitor for 2023 and we were pleasantly surprised by the taste, presentation of the food and the staff. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the entrées. The Bayou Catfish was suggested to me and I will challenge you to it as well. Very savory cheesy grits with crispy fried catfish. The texture was on point!! To the staff and chefs, awesome job and we will be back!
I didn’t realize that this would be my 2nd review. Our server, Robert, was excellent so I had to give him his props. Very attentive and prompt with service. Updated on when entrees would come etc. The only issue was I noticed that the restaurant had decreased serving size of entrees. They are much smaller yet still same price. Honestly, you are badly full of hungry. The good was delicious Shrimp and grits but the servings are way too small for price. This will most likely be a deterrent for me. I’m not a big eater but I do like to get my moneys worth.
Cute place. Service was great. The food however left a lot to be desired. The appetizer came with the entree. The appetizer was perfect. The entree was stone cold. The gravy had started to try to separate it was so cold pn top of the rice which was cold. The mixed squash and zuchini was alsp cold as was the steak. The steak was cooked correctly but was cold enough it didn't want to melt the butter on top of it. When I sent it back because it was cold it was obvious they put the sides in the microwave, which ruins rice and makes veggies shrivel and the steak was still cold. Based on the rave reviews I had about this placed from friends in the area, I expected much better.
This was my first experience at Georgia Blue, and it was very good. I ended up having lunch there two days in a row. The restaurant was very clean with a rustic theme. The whiskey barrel wall was really cool, but I wish I would have been able to sample their whiskey at the restaurant. The first day I had the shrimp tacos with chips and queso. The tacos were awesome, and had a great spicy sauce that really made them stand out. The chips and queso was what you would expect, but very good as well. The second day I had the Mahi tacos, and they were excellent as well. Too many onions, but that's jusy my personal preference. All in all, this is a great place to grab something quick but very savory. Would recommend!
The atmosphere is well done. Food was overall good. Portion sizes were a bit on the small side - especially for southern comfort food. Service was slow, but I suspect employment issues in today’s labor market. For more content check us out on the gram: @Bobbymontg and @HeathersLG Features: Masks optional
We stopped in to eat while traveling from Canton to Clinton. We ate during peak dinner time on a weekend night but were seated right away. We were seated at a booth that featured the front end of an old car as one of the bench seats, which thrilled my 6 year old son! Our food was very tasty. For reference, we ordered the red beans & rice, house salad very unique - highly recommend, and Georgia Blue nachos with red beans and sausage! Will definitely visit again.
