German Park Oktoberfest

First visit to the actual restaurant, and it's worth four stars. Only place on the south side to get a good German meal. Been to the park and outdoor event area many times and it's nice, but under developed. Has a lot more potential than they they are currently utilizing. Nice summer venue for family reunions and wedding parties.

As usual Oktoberfest was a BLAST! I met a real life Gnome, drank too much beer, ate some potato pancakes, and bought a polka T-shirt! I wish there were more vendors there and a bit more to see and do but I'll be back next year!! Oh. For those who are wondering... Getting into the park was easy breezy, finding a spot to park was just as simple and leaving which we ALL know is the MOST important part was no problem at all. Now the beer lines are a whole nother matter

Great service and great, authentic German meals! Love Wednesday's dinner "buffeteria" - lots to choose from and all GOOD! You won't leave without being being fully satisfied.

Eidelweiss restaurant at German Park is the best kept secret in Indianapolis!! Fantastic food, German beers and a beautiful shaded patio that overlooks the park. Open Tuesday through Saturday evenings.

Great place to host an event/party. The buildings are perfectly setup to serve food and drinks and there’s plenty of parking.

Absolutely wonderful place; very beautiful area! Not open to the public, but great for events!! The Oktoberfest was a ton of fun this year; I highly recommend it!

Nice park but don't like/understand why dogs aren't allowed. Dog-friendliness: Not friendly at all. Dogs are not allowed.
