I visited this dermatologist about an issue I was having which he was very dismissive of, and when I tried to show him eczema scars on my back in hopes of getting a script he refused to look at it. That day he sent me on my way and told his assistant not to charge me for the visit. Months later I come to find out I have an outstanding balance with the office that has been turned over to a debt collectors agency. I normally don’t write bad reviews but I’ve been to many doctors in my life and this particular experience left me feeling completely frustrated. Find a more professional dermatologist.

Dr. Gerstein is wonderful. I had a hard time finding a dermatologist that didn't just want to push botox. And I saw "most" of them in Carmel. He has a wonderful woman PA who is so calming during any procedure. I've had an urgent dermatologist need this year, in addition to removing a mole, and getting my annual skin check which YOU need to go do soon!. I found them when I was in pain with an inflamed cyst and they put me immediately on the schedule, and I was so nervous to go and so very thankful when I left only hours later. I highly recommend this office, and I drive past 4 or 5 other dermatologist to go there.

Love it here! They’re always quick, informative, and friendly. I’ve been going here for over a year and haven’t had any issues! I would def recommend it to everyone/anyone. Pricing is great for a specialist! People complaining about pricing must not be familiar with the industry. I’ve spend more to see an aesthetician at a spa. They also an aesthetician in office, in addition to the dermatologist. Do your self a favor and get a chemical peel!

He has always been a very personable, thoughtful and a thorough professional. You never feel rushed and he truly cares for his patients.

I have only talked to Dr. Gerstein for 10 mins for my mole removal consultation and then decided to find another dermatologist. I want to share my personal opinion regarding his communication style so that other potential clients can choose.After all there are lots of good doctors in Indy. When I went into the office with him and his student, he saw my last name on the information form and immediately commented," that cannot be your original last name." Then he wants to know where I came from originally, where I work, where my husband works etc. While that might be his idea of small talk, I feel like all of the conversations make me feel uncomfortable, and quite frankly, it's none of his business. After that, he strongly suggested I use this new method with a 91% accurate rate to check my mole, requiring me to go back to the office at least two times to get the result back. The amount of time and energy and $100 co-pay for his service are not worth it for me.

I took my daughter, age 8, here for treatment for molluscum. Dr. Gerstein, the NP, and the office staff have been very welcoming, efficient, and kind. I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my appointment, and everyone has made my somewhat shy daughter feel very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gertstein and his staff were welcoming and give expert care. They took the time to listen and I did not feel rushed. Any procedures I have had went exactly as explained, easing any fears I had. I'm thankful for Dr. Gerstein and his staff.

Dr Gerstein is kind, patient, and knowledgeable dermatologist. His staff are so nice to work with. I appreciate how much extra time they take to educate me on how to care of my skin. They also take the time to learn about the concerns I have with my skin. If you want the feel of a small office with great customer service Meridian Dermatology is the perfect fit for you. My husband & I have been a patients for years and we highly recommend Dr Gerstein & his Aesthetician.

Very satisfied. Dr. Gerstein has taken care of me and my two kids for various things. Accutane for Acne can be a little concerning, but he implemented a more gradual approach that made the whole process more gentle yet incredibly effective. He has always taken good care of us and is always pleasant.

Very friendly staff, always easy to schedule appointments, excellent results on all procedures!
