GIANT Food Stores

This store is HUGE and beautiful. Especially the produce department. Impeccable service. In addition ridiculously clean. Very busy place. Grab a beer, grab a snack or dinner..... then do your shopping. Genius.

I'm still giving this store 5 stars because the single down side is, frequently not enough check out lines are open. Since this occurs frequently, it must be ' normal '. Other than that, it really is one of the best stores for produce, deli, dairy and bakery within our shopping range. If they do not carry it, I can't imagine what store does, outside some major metropolis- which Harrisburg is not. The fish department is especially terrific! Slightly pricey but I'd rather go here than risk somewhere the fish is less fresh. That is personal preference. Check out staff are very nice, surprising for how busy the store gets. Who could be pleasant all the time, working with we ' general public '? They are. Could wish this company would revert to the old days of staff helping you to your car, with groceries. I do not require it but sometimes see elderly having a tough time. This is not just ' Giant ', no one provides this service and they really, really should.

Giant has the most patient and friendly employees. They are patient at checkout and also point out deals in the isle. I was getting sausage while the man was putting meat out and pointed out a better deal. A lot more meat for the same price.

Absolutely love the scan and go feature. I pack my groceries as I go in my own bags. I go to the Lingelstown Road store even though there are 2 Giant stores closer to me.

We stopped by here to visit the flower shop to get a nice bouquet of flowers. After looking though the selection, we found that the ones selected were the best in the bunch.
