We personally love to shop at the Giant on Linglestown Road in Harrisburg. They have such a great selection and the store is always organized. Their produce section is awesome (I can always find ingredients I need for recipes) and the deli has such an awesome selection of Boar's Head meats! They also have a lot of environmentally friendly cleaning products which is great, too!! I'll drive the extra miles to shop here!

Good place to shop for groceries. Unfortunately the store is not huge so the selection is not as good as the bigger stores in the Harrisburg area. Cashiers are friendly and will help if a price comes up wrong. They will also special order items that you've seen in other stores. They did this for me and regularly stock that item now. Produce manager is very friendly and meat department always is willing to help you. Free orange or banana for kids is a wonderful idea!

The service at the New Cumberland location is simply horrid. Wait in line at the deli for 5-10 behind one person. Seconds after a third customer got in line, she was immediately helped. Tried talking to customer service about this, and I got what sounded like a sarcastic apology. I left my cart with my families holiday groceries sitting, and I have absolutely no desire to ever return. Save yourself the headache, and go to the discount grocery store on the corner of the parking lot. Better prices, and super polite employees.

Halifax Giant has the most pleasant and helpful staff, hands down, out of any food store in 20 miles. Choices can be a little limited but we'll trade that for a stress free hour! Frequent crazy good sales help, too!!
