Excellent staff and service. Dr Gilliom was very helpful with suggestions and fitting me with 2 new devices. They're of much better quality than my previous and I've been extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend this office and Dr Gilliom.

A friend suggested I go to Gilliom Audiology because I was having trouble hearing certain sounds. I was delighted when I arrived to find the staff and of course Dr. Gilliom both very friendly and fully professional. After some testing we discovered what I was missing and were able to get some hearing aids to help with this problem. When wearing the aids, I hear things that I had not heard in a long time. I also discovered that I am able to hear voices with more clarity and can now hear conversations that I had not been able to hear. Recently I was able to upgrade to a device with better technology and am doing even better. Thanks so much for the great service from Gilliom Audiology. I highly recommend this practice to you. I want to be up-front. Doctor Gilliom knows that before coming to her I purchased hearing aids at Costco. She pointed out the review below written by "Mark A" and asked if I would respond to it and relay my experience. I told her if I had seen that review on my own I would have written a response without aid of suggestion, because I know that review to be misleading and inaccurate. I went to Costco based on price. The technician was friendly, but gave many clues that they were inexperienced in field of hearing care. I was prescribed 2 off-brand hearing aids that gave me trouble from the start. One of them made a ringing sound and the two combined did not help my hearing to any great degree. I went back to Costco a number of times to address the issues. They were very accommodating and helpful, but I'd end up with a different technician each time, and when I exited they'd work okay, but in no time the same ringing problems reoccurred. I finally decided I needed a solution and made an appointment with Dr. Gilliom. She told me at the start that the top band of hearing aid on the market was going to cost more than what I bought at Costco. I decided to make the investment in hopes of better hearing without constant annoyance. The results have been incredible. I now hear better, no more ringing, and I receive proper care and attention each time I visit Gilliom. I understand why "Mark A" wrote what he did, before my Costco experience I must have assumed the same. And I understand that not everyone can make the investment in the best hearing aid, (or choose to), but comparing Costco to Gilliom Audiology is like comparing Wendy's to The Capital Grille; they're not the same thing and the comparison is silly. Very helpful office. Dr. Gilliom and the staff are excellent. Had a problem with one of my aids and they solved my issue in one visit. I highly recommend.

To be on the safe side, as I get older I like to check on all my health areas. I didn't think I had a hearing problem per say, but I thought a thorough test would be a good idea to be certain and to use for comparison down the road. Dr Moore was very professional in her approach and conducted a complete exam. Fortunately my hearing is well within the acceptable range for a person of my age. She explained her exam report and gave me a copy for my records. What really impressed me was that no one in the office tried to prescribe or sell me something I didn't need. To me that is the difference between a hearing health professional and "those storefronts" that hawk hearing aids. I recommend this office for top level hearing care.
