Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana

I have attended several meetings here and found a very nice facility that represents the GS well.

Someone came to my daughters school to try and get a troop started. We were so excited when they called and said that they found a troop leader and all we needed to do was to go online pay the $50.00 and we would get information about troop meetings. So I did that...never got a call!! I called the girl scout office and they gave me the leaders number which was disconnected and her email which I never got a response to. After waiting for a response I called the Owensboro office back and they said they were waiting for one more person to sign up to be the troop leader in order to have a meeting. They refuse to give my money back because technically my daughter is still a girl scout, I'm just her troop leader!! I signed up with the belief that my daughter would be a part of an actual group at her school, selling cookies, doing activities with other kids, etc... I was tricked, along with other parents at the school, into paying money for her to be in a club that didn't exist. We will not be doing girl scouts ever again. Now that she can be a boy scout and actually be a part of a troop we will be doing that!!

Very responsive in email and very patient and kind when we were having trouble finding an active troop on the website.
