Global Wildlife Center

I came here for a veterinary field trip and had a blast! Not only do you get to be up close and personal with the animals but you also have a tour guide with you to educate you as you go and answer any questions you may have. There are a very wide variety of species housed here from all over the world. This is a great place for families, friends, couples, and groups to have a fun and unique experience together! Just be sure to wear something you don't mind getting dirty ;)

This was a great experience for the wife and I on our child's field trip. The kids had so much fun. Clean and defiantly family fun. My daughter loved the animals and the wife and I loved that they were not caged up like at the zoo. We all had fun feeding the animals as they came right up to the side of the vehicle. Defiantly will be going back soon.

Absolutely amazing place for children of all ages and even the big people. You may have gone your whole life and never been that close to animals from the world and the wild without going on safari in Africa. Where you can feed and see the animals up close and touch many of them. The proceeds help save these animals and conservation. Right here in LA in Tangipahoa Parish such a great fun place for all. Well worth the money and the gift shop was great too. Get the big cups/several of food so you don't run out.

This was a huge blast! The whole family loved it. Just in case you're wondering a $30 bucket was enough for all five of us. Just ration it knowing that you have 3 stops. We were disappointed that the giraffes wouldn't come over but we did like that they didn't try to force them to come over or drive the whole train over there. We will try to come back again sometime for sure.

Our first visit was an awesome adventure. We went on the regular tour and really enjoyed it. However, our last visit was amazing. We brought the grandchildren and went on a private tour. A great experience getting up and personal with the animals roaming free and eating out of our hands. I only wish it would last longer. It was over way too quickly. Time flies when you’re having fun!
