Golden China Chinese and Japanese Restaurant

The only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 star is only because the food was fresh and tasty. The customer service however, TRASH. The cashier swiped my card once and says your card isn't working, snatches the food away and shoves my card in my face and points to all the other 10 customers waiting for their orders and says all their cards work mine doesn't. So upon further yelling I find out the man is just an imbecile who doesn't know how to operate his own credit card machine. The message read "duplicate transaction" so I explained this was probably because I just purchased an order previously and if he clicked yes it would probably go through. He says there is no yes button, so I say what about the green enter button? WOW IT WORKED. As angry as he made me I still said thank you but nothing in return. What a jerk, I will never go back there again and I will spread the word to all my friends and family I've made living the past 20 years in Williamsburg. Work on your customer service.

Tofu General Tso is excellent as is sesame chicken and chicken fried rice. Pleasant employees.

Food is really good. Best Chinese joint in town. I don't feel terrible afterwards eating it as well. So why the 3 stars? Well, they are a tad more expensive than the average Chinese place, but that's justifiable by their upper scale place. However me and some friends were told if we wanted to eat in we had to make a reservation, despite the store being completely empty. However the biggest reason I'd rate the place so low for having such good food is due almost solely to the customer service. I'm used to establishments not having primary or strong English speakers, but combine that with the impatience and rudeness of the staff and management, you have some pretty irritable experiences. Ever watch that episode of Seinfeld with the Soup Nazi? Well it's comparable to that.
