Golden Corral

Food was very salty and of poor quality. The sirloin tips were about 3/4 stew meat and 1/4 actual tips. The mashed potatoes were mostly instant potatoes. No butter choice, just margarine. (Who still serves margarine these days?) The soft serve ice cream was disgusting, I don't even have words to describe it. The server took 5 minutes to bring a drink refill. And for all of this, I had the privilege of paying $14.99. Also I can't even begin to describe the gastric distress I was in all weekend after eating there. I will not be returning...ever.

For a chain, the buffet is pretty good. I was impressed with their selection at lunch time. This was my first trip to Golden Corral. We don't have any in Oregon and so I was excited to finally try it after seeing commercials on TV for years. It doesn't compare to a really good restaurant buffet or high-quality Casino buffet, but for a chain Buffet it was very good for $10. They had a very good selection of salad options in deserts and a pretty good selection of hot foods. I would prefer paying more than going to a high quality Buffet but I would definitely return to Golden Corral if I was in the area.

Was the worst. Meat was dry and old looking. The supposedly sizzling fajitas were sitting in grease barely warm. But the remodel is nice and the salad line was good and the ice cream is good. Rest of the desserts were pilfered through by kids but it's to be expected.

Me and my husband went here today and it was the worst experience ever!!!! The food is just poor quality for what we paid! We paid almost $40 to end up getting really sick and not even enjoying our meals because of the unbearable taste. It seems everything I got I could not finish because it just had no flavor what so ever. The best part of it was probably the drinks! NEVER EVER GOING THERE AGAIN! Now we’re stuck at home sick to our stomach because of this place!
