Golden Palms Retirement Center and Healthcare

My husband has been here for over a month. Rehab is great no complaints. Nursing staff is nice and food for patients is good. I only had one issue and that was bathing. It really needs improvement. He was getting bed baths and the girl was going to use the same wash cloth that she had used on his feet on his genital area but I stopped her. The only shower he had, when he came back his genital area had not been properly washed. It still had powder and old rash cream on it. So I had to be around to make sure he was bathed correctly. Don’t get me wrong some ladies know what they are doing and did a great job bathing it was just one or two.This last time I bathed him the tech just dumped everything on the chair, left me hot water and never came back to check if I needed help . Bathing was a big issue for me. Everything else was good. Nurses were nice, staff was nice and Rehab was awesome! I would recommend Golden Palms Rehab

Food and service are great. If you are looking for a place to hold a luncheon, this is it. Check it out.

They have some good staff. But be careful when placing your family here make sure you read the contracts they kept my grandpas 2000 deposit and would not allow him to take his furniture 😠 he moved out and they told him its in the contract that they keep all his furniture. The way it was addressed to him was ridiculous. I know they want to keep it sell it on the 5th floor. He is elderly how in the world do they want him to purchase everything knew including dishes. Seriously....
