overall very good food and service. It was not very busy before 10am but then started to line up. There is a good variety of choices for both food and drinks. The tornado shape scramble egg is so cute and delicious. I love the fact it has the build your own option to allow flexibility. I ordered a build your own with scramble egg, kimchi, mushrooms and short rib. The short rib is shredded meat so nothing impressive to be honest but the rest are just delicious! I also got a little gem salad which is also really good and flavourful. Definitely will go back!
Got the braised beans and kale salad for brunch. Portion is a bit small but my husband and I have big appetite . Both dishes were very delicious. The beans had a nice balanced sauce and the sourdough bread had a nice crunchy and soft bite. Also got a side la labeh which was fresh and went well with the sourdough bread. The kale salad was refreshing and juicy.
Cute cafe near where we stayed, walked in round 9am and it was quite empty. Had Kimchi Scrambled Eggs and Best Breakfast Sandwich, all tasty. Nice and friendly staff. Great place to grab a wholesome meal and a cup of coffee.Recommended dishesKimchi Scrambled Eggs on Sourdough, Scrambled Eggs and Avocado, Best Breakfast Sandwich
Happened upon this wonderful little breakfast/brunch place en route to Russ & Daughters cafe. Great coffee, and highly recommend their kimchi scramble, breakfast sandwich, and sardine toast for eats. Really friendly service and a pretty quaint sit down area.
If you walk too fast, you might miss the most chill brunch/cafe in LES. Across from art galleries and restaurants working on staying relevant, Good Thanks Cafe has an identity and the quality to back it up. Hospitality was easygoing and caring without been pushy came in after a holiday weekend rush and the prices are approachable. Exactly what someone might need after a long day, in-taking all of what LES has to offer. Will be back!
Came here for a second time with my family. Good Thanks continues to be our favourite brunch in NYC. Great service, excellent vegetarian options, super yummy food, great prices. If you arrive at opening hour, you shouldn’t have an issue with waiting in line.
Best brunch we’ve had in NYC! Great coffee, amazing food and friendly staff. We had the Build Your Own Breakfast and it was amazing. Will definitely come again.
What a great experience! The environment is so welcoming and ‘homey’ — we really enjoyed it here. Friend came into town to visit and loved this place too! I’ll definitely be back. Wait staff is very kind and attentive too. Thank you, Good Thanks!
Good food! Although a bit on the pricey side like everything else in NY. The salmon omelette is really good. The açaí bowl is surely the dessert you don’t want to miss.
An overrated brunch experience. The food is good, coffee is okay, service is so-so and quite unfriendly, pricey. It's very noisy inside and you're also rushed by waiters to eat and leave. They even charged for an extra bread slice that we asked to finish all that extra avocado we had on a smaller bread piece. My first time experiencing this. Anyway, wouldn't go back as eating out isn't only about food quality but also about a good service.
