Goodwill Retail Store of Columbia

This Goodwill store is a FRANCHISE operation. They must operate the store according to their contract with Goodwill Industries and they seem to do a good job. They however have an inordinate number of clothing items that are marked up on the individual items far higher than the larger posted prices. DO NOT BAIT AND SWITCH GUYS.

Wow. I found lots this time! And my cashier was super efficient. :) I took away a star as i saw an employee completely ignore a guests request for help. Giving it back, as another employee was very helpful when i had a question.

Been coming here for the 13+ years I've been in CoMo. Prices climbing over recent years, but that is everywhere. Just now had an issue with something and had the manager called. He was rude and dismissive then just turned around and walked away while I was still standing there, in mid sentence and "busied" himself with someone else. Forget it. This place has really gone down hill the past year or so. Jeff City has a nice new Goodwill and I've never had problems there. The Salvation Army thrift store here in Columbia has a smaller selection but better prices and much friendlier staff.

I love this Goodwill! Employees have always been friendly and prices are fair considering that it is always busy.

Almost always find something I "need"! Staff is generally very helpful, I've been buying furniture for my god daughter and the guys in the back are super sweet loading up! Rarely let me touch things ☺ Sometimes personnel on the floor can be surly, however, if i had to be the one to clean up and reorganize after SOO many customers that just throw discards everywhere, knocked clothing off hangers and left them on the floor, left the changing rooms like a hurricane went through.... I'd be surly too! Please always be respectful people!!
