Goodwill Retail Store of St. Louis – Baptist Church Rd

The employees are very helpful and nice. This store probably has the largest selection of jeans. Their clothes are in real good shape and nice furniture comes through often. Price wise you simply need to shop around. Are you willing to pay $3.50 for a 10 year old cami-tank when you can get a new one for $5-$7? Well, if it's in great shape then yes. You need to look through everything for tears, rips and stains. Thankfully the most I have ever seen was maybe a missing button. One man's trash is another man's treasure. I like treasures.

Just went to drop off a couple shirts and a book as a donation to this location. When I walked up to the donation center door with a big sign that said YES WE ARE OPEN on it, I was greeted by a man who was helping another person. He shouted at me "sir, I'm not going to be able to help you for quite a while and you are NOT allowed to he up here!" I looked around for anything indicating that I wasn't allowed to be there, and other than the sign on the door assuring me they were open, I saw nothing. So I dropped my little bundle on the steps and walked back to my car. As I got in, I heard the man shout a curse word at me and looked up in time to see him throwing the things I had just dropped off into the bushes while yellij g something incoherent. I really don't think I was out of line here, and don't think I'll ever return to this location with this unstable and overwhelmingly self-important little man taking the donations.

I have gone here on multiple occasions and usually find something we can use. Items seem to be in good shape and staff is pleasant. Good selection of furniture and costs seem to be lower than other goodwill' s we have been to. They really need to repair the glass counter up front as it had been broke for too long.

Store very unorganized and cluttered, causing most aisles to be blocked. Ignorant customers and rude employees. Was looking for a cheap purse, changed my mind after opening two of them containing feminine hygiene products and a plastic baggie coated with white residue.

At my last visit, it was less organized than on prior visits. Since most of the items sold depend on donations, the stock is unpredictable, as is that of their other locations and other charity resale stores.
