Googie Burger is a wonderful place. The smell of the fries and the iconic Googie burger overwhelm the building in a good way. If you don't like the classic option, there are plenty of other options on the large menu. With great hours and outstanding service, Googie Burger is the perfect spot after a long day in Olympic Park. The employees are very kind and work in a timely manner. Googie Burger is honestly one of the best spots in the wonderful city of Atlanta.
Googie Burger is, and I do not say this lightly, one of the finest dining experiences I have ever had. The servers were kind and respectful, operating with the highest degree of professionality. The titular burger was down-right delicious, and the other options aren't too shabby either. You really can't go wrong with any of the many good options from Googie Burger's vast menu. I would give 6 stars if I could, God bless you Googie Burger.
Googie Burger is a great resurant!!!!!!! i ordred the buger anf fires, and they were delicous!!!!!!!!!!! super juicy and crispy. the service was amazing too!!! they were super friendly and and i got my food in just a couple minutes. Would Highly recommend! my new fav resturant. hope they make a new location.
My fiance and I stopped here a couple of years ago, and the service was extra terrible. We stood in a long line, just to find out when we got up there they had a small amount of selections. After ordering hot dogs, we got plain hot dogs. They also did not want to give anyone their money back. I hope things have changed since then. Also, I only gave it one star to make this review.
The atmosphere in the park on a sunny day was a great break from work. Call in the order in advance since the line to place an order was about 10 minutes and it took about 15 minutes to get my order ready. The burgers and onion rings tasted good, but it was dissapointing that they were barely warm after the long wait. I had to restack the burger since the meat and lettuce were falling out of the bun and the rings had a big puddle of oil in the bottom of the tray.
The counter took my order while on the phone, and cut me off for her call. Then 20 minutes for a hot dog and cheeseburger. There were two orders and both took too long. The menu says a burger has cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. I requested no tomato, but got only cheese. All ice cream was unavailable, but only shakes were marked as unavailable. Pretty much a failure on all aspects for a burger stand.
Really good burgers in the park. I'd have to go back several times to try each of the burgers that sounded good on the menu and it'd be worth it. Great place for families, having kids meals served on a frisbee was a nice touch. Had great fried pickles--but they are greasy, so be forewarned if that's not your thing. The PB&J shake is also very good--mostly PB, but the J adds an interesting touch. Just a short walk up the park from the Aquarium and the Coke Museum, and since you'll want to eat in the area anyway to save your parking pass, why not eat here? Well, if the weather's bad, there's really no sheltered seating to speak of--but if the weather's good, you've got no excuse
Slow service. Took like 20 minutes for my burger. But once I got it... best burger I've ever had. And it makes me think... maybe that's how long a burger should take, and everyone else just cuts corners to get it out faster. With fast food, you get what you pay for. With Googie Burger, you get what you wait for. Looking forward to my next visit.
I just had lunch at the Googie Burger. That was the first AND last visit to this place. That was the worst burger and fries I've ever had!! The fries were old and hard; some you could break like a wooden stick. The burger was old as if they just re-heated it in the microwave. This was even after I asked if the burgers were freshly cooked and was told "yes". I would not recommend this place at all.
Cashier is attitude city :... July 9th around 5:30. Did not feel like trying to explain more to the two women there because obviously I was wasting my breath. While standing in line I saw the jumbo dog and the kids meal with a hot dog was the same price. So I get to the window and ask a SIMPLE question with no attitude. She gives me this funky A-- response with her eyes fully open with attitude. Hopefully she is able to read this and understand you do not always get something because it is a better price/deal. Sometimes you get what you need because you are not going to use the other nor can you resell, that is considered intentional waste. 1. I did not need or want fries or drink for my two boys. We already had 4 drinks and I was not trying to carry any more. They were not going to eat the fries soooo...what is the point of wasting... 2. I asked the question because I figured the kids meal had a smaller hot dog and I was going to see if they probably sold that separately off menu than the jumbo. Doing that would have kept me from throwing away fries and not drinking the drinks. She then turns to the lady behind her and says something smart about my decision. The other lady says I would have gotten the kids meal. I said not if your are going to waste the other food :. Some people are just too focused and do not look at the whole picture. They probably still will not understand my reasoning but hey :...after getting home I thought I could have gotten the kids meal and just gave the fries and drink to a homeless person. Now I would have respected them saying that then just telling me to get the kids meal. First and last time spending money at this attitude joint :
