Goose Point Park

First time here. Nice location overall. Three loops. One only for tents. Small campsites, mostly. Steep drops towards lake around entire perimeter. The other two loops are powered. One loop is at the beach and dock area. Bathrooms are very well maintained. The firewood sold on site is very good value. $10 paid gets you 3 nights of nice fire. Town is about 15 mins away. The Rangers were around and there are gate attendants that are pleasant. You can gather wood around the forest for burning. Remember the slope is steep around the perimeter of the loop.

Love this place. As a matter of fact this is where I started getting to know my now fiance when I was a small child, and we are getting married next week. We still love going up here and already have reservations for right after the honeymoon. Can't get enough of this place!

One of the hardest campgrounds to get reservations at simply because the lower loop spots are very close to the water. It's a five mile trip from the main road down to the campground but it's worth it. It's very peaceful at this campground too. We always enjoy camper at Goose Point.

On a peninsula with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Sandy beach for swimming. Boat launch. Love it!

The Campground is great clean but if you camp on the mountain you have to walk or drive to the swimming area and if you run out of anything the store is 2 or 3 miles. All in all it's a good Campground.
