Gotta Eatta Pita - San Jose

Came on a Weds lunch hour to grab a few items to go. Falafel bowl was good but nothing extra ordinary, shawarma was decent but also nothing spectacular, albeit filling. Staff were quick and amicable. Restaurant was clean.

Fantastic place, good menu. The food is served in good portions and is delicious. I took the pita falafal sandwich, was one of the best Falafel sandwiches I have had in USA. Since its in downtown, cheap parking can be a little tricky but there are plenty of spots around. Would totally recommend it.

Bottom line: This restaurant makes great vegetarian food and their customer service is amazing. Eat here. Support this restaurant. Their customer service shined bright today. I ordered dinner through Postmates, but my driver never picked up the order. After having my trouble ticket ignored by Postmates, I called the restaurant directly. I spoke with the Manager and discussed what was happening. I arranged to pick up myself. Upon arrival, he insisted on making me a fresh batch of food, since my original food had been sitting for almost 2hrs. They were so generous and eager to make my experience better- it made all my hangry melt away. Loyal customer well earned.

Love this place. Their bowl meal is a good value and the flavors of all their ingredients are delicious, especially the eggplant. Only reason it is not 5 star is that they have been out of food grilled chicken, eggplant on a few occasions. They have a simple menu so when they are out of something major, it's pretty disappointing. Also, I always order take out. There is nothing special about the atmosphere there. Still, I return regularly because the food is good.

Closed, for good, is what the sign on the door said. I walked all the way up to the door and paid for parking to be sure. I'm bummed because this place was really delicious with great prices and huge portions. The food was always super fresh. The pita bread was soft and amazing. Yeah I'm bummed

Love their food. It is hard to find Mediterranean food by weight and this place has it. Their eggplants, sauce and chicken are great! So happy they are in business!

You get a big bowl full of satisfying middle Eastern style food. Chicken is the only meat choice. Delivery service is excellent, quick and on time. Use them for your lunch meetings. The falafel balls were crunchy and there was lots of tahini sauce.

Delicious food, good prices, and friendly staff! We're new to San Jose, so I know we'll be back. The hummus is the best I've had at a restaurant — and a generous portion for the price. The shawarma and falafel are both delicious. The menu seems intentionally simple, which I applaud. Can't wait to go back!
