Gulzaar is a Halal restaurant and has been consistent in terms of the taste. I have been coming to this place for a long time. Even though they had an ownership and management changed, but taste has been consistent. Their Chicken samosas are the best on the menu. Their sandwiches and biryanis are good as well. You can ask them to make it spicy as well. They do have dine in space and restaurant over all is very clean. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for Halal food.
This place is a hidden gem! Their baba ganoush was wonderful! We ordered biryani chicken tikka with beef kebab… VERY GOOD! The spices and the flavors are just perfect and the meat was very tender! Definitely recommended! This will be our fav go to restaurant whenever we’re around!
Food was Delicious. I ordered Biryani with mix Kabab and bottle of water. Spend $22. Small place. Good Customer service.
It is one of good restaurant we have visited recently. They serve fusion food, you will find kababs along with Basmati plain white rice and Biryani rice. The biryani is not traditional biryani but taste is good. We have order Fatoush, Zatir and Jabneh Manakesh, chapli kabab, chicken kabab and mince meat kabab. They all were good, I have taken some of my freinds as well who have not tasted this food before, they were happy and have enjoyed the food. The Fatoush was fresh, Zatar and Jabneh was the pick of food. The meat was cooked well and they owner is gracious enough to provide us extra yogurt raita and curry sauce to make it spicy. We have eaten food with some biryani rice and afghan Naan. Afghan Naan was cooked perfectly although the portion could have been bigger. Other day we have tried kabab with biryani rice and chicken Tikka masla, biryani rice portion and kabab was good and delicious. Chicken tikka masla was good for someone who has not eaten it before but for people from India and Pakistan it lacks the spices and traditional curry base. My friend who ordered this was happy with it. The owner was very humble and very gracious. He has recognized us on our next trip and was available on hand to explain dishes to my friends and suggest them the level of spice they should try. They also have Kabuli pilao available although we did not try it. It is good place for both lunch and dinner, they serve halal food.
Food was delicious. We ordered several items as we were starving. We got aloo ghobi, chicken Masala, chicken with the salad, chicken and veg samosa, baba ganoush, Dal and mango lassi. All was really delicious. The last dish to come was the aloo gobi which was cold and very saucy with not many veg. The only disappointment hence the one star. If we lived there it would be a regular spot. The only other thing that was confusing was the tipping. They’ve posted a sign that says 15% will be automatically added for dine in. So we tipped because we weren’t sure. Our bill was just over $100, which is super expensive for the location and ambiance but I would go back. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options.
Awesome service and delicious food. I believe is family owned but not sure. Great atmosphere and owners so sweet. You definitely want to try this place.
Chapli Kabab Plate was tasty. Not too salty or oily either. Big portions. Fast friendly service. Clean bathroom. Not in the best neighborhood.
This place is not fancy but if you are after a super tasty food, here is definitely the place. The staff behaviour is super friendly and food quality is really top with very fair and reasonable pricing. Thank you so much for the service.
Delicious meal made with fresh ingredients. Super customer service. Will definitely be coming again. Try the samosas! Best I’ve tried.
Everything I ordered was delicious. The veggie samosa in particular was perfectly done—not too crispy, not too soft. If you’re used to northern India cuisine, the chicken tikka masala is different here—not as buttery but still excellent and a nice change of pace from the usual. One suggestion: if you have a complicated order, ask for the male owner—the woman I spoke with was very friendly but her English is not perfect. December 2021
