All of the staff were friendly and helpful! From the staff in the front, the nurses, doctors and the nice lady who gave my sons his shots! I arrived a half an hour early for my appointment, I was checked in quickly and seen fast. Dr Swarr was very lovely , attentive, friendly, and very thorough with her line of questions and overall care for my son during his physical exam today! They exceeded my expectations! Thanks everyone for the lovely experience!
I've received labs and gyn care at this location and have been incredibly satisfied with the care received each time. The front staff has always been professional, efficient, and kind. There was a bit of a wait for my appointment, but nothing more than at a typical doctor's office with people who were there before me waiting, too. The nurse who took my vitals was kind and professional. The CNM Lauren came in shortly after I taken to the room. I very much appreciated how attentive she was. She explained everything she did, which made a less-than-fun appointment better. The check-out staff were equally as professional. I'm sure the clinic staff can have off days, but everyone has been wonderful whenever I've been there. When I've gone for labs, there was barely a wait, and the tech took my blood quickly and painlessly. Easy process.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. First, the receptionists badmouth the individuals in the waiting area and treat people coming in with disrespect and annoyance. Once you wait an hour in the main waiting room, you get sent to the back where you wait another two hours for the provider to come in. This is the most inefficient and disorganized clinic I’ve ever been to. The long wait times and miscommunication within the system is a reason why people stop caring about the importance of preventative care. Please improve the medical services before expanding to dental.
Hilariously pathetic organization from top to bottom, at all locations and all levels of care, apart from a few nurses who deserve so much more than to be making a living at these "treatment" centers. Please, you're too talented be working for whoever runs this organization. This organization makes Popeyes and Septa seem like theyre as efficient as Apple and IBM. A Healthcare organization with such lackluster coordination, leadership, and effort across the board from the actual healthcare professionals to front desk staff, makes me so ashamed to be a Philadelphian. But it also perfectly encapsulates this city and its leaders. I can't even give individual things for you to change, becuase every single step of the process of getting treatment at GPHA is an absolute nightmare. Every single step. EVERYTHING. My only recommendation is to fire every single person in charge of the decision making and hire entirely new, young, caring, thoughtful medical professionals to overhaul this pathetic excuse of a healthcare organization. And if you're pocketing bonuses or a large exec/managerial salary from this organization, you're a disgusting person and this city will be much better off without you. Do not go here unless you have a very minor medical problem and you have literally no other options. GPHA will only make everything worse.
I had a telehealth appointment with physician Patricia Weir. She was patient and understanding of my autistic brother's condition. She was on top of everything, answered all my questions, and even wrote a letter excusing him from jury duty. Highly recommend seeing her.
The school body form for the doctor need to wait for 10days to fill out the form!crazy... Can't you adjust? I can't understand what they really think. Call them always waiting…… Fortunately, the dentist form only takes a few minutes!
The only good thing about this place is the ladies in navy blue scrubs that be taking the vital signs. That's why they're getting the one star. Expected wait time to be seen on average is 2 hours but you can expect to wait even longer. Don't waste your time.
Would recommend elsewhere. There's only a single person in the staff that I feel comfortable with. Some of the other staff are a bit incompetant. One time, me and my mother had to go into the office of a counselor/nurse to sign up for a program to help pay the medical fee. The lady was incredibly rude and not understanding at all that my mother wasn't good at english, and I'm not good at translating either. Like why would you have a job that most likely have people that DON'T speak english? The wait is longer than expected, even if you're getting 1 shot of a vaccine. Good thing I'm not going anymore. I don't like it here.
I am not a patient, thank God, but my fiancé is so I know from being with him during his visits or even just trying to get appointments or reach Dr it is virtually impossible ! The staff seems incompetent or they don’t really care. My Advise is Don’t go to them at All. Find An All around Competent Dr as Well as Staff. Dr’s should provide a certain type of welcoming, clean, friendly environment for their patients it shows care for their patients. It should be surroundings where they can be comfortable as they wait to be seen in a reasonable amount of waiting time . Not wait for hours at a time. Consideration is needed all away around especially excellent deliverance of medical treatment. Anything less means find a reputable Dr elsewhere, Please For your sake and for Your healths sake !!
I arrived at 10:35am for an 11:00am appointment with the nurse practitioner. I didn't even see her until after 12. She referred me to a case manager without any explanation to me, wasting more of my time. Somehow on top of this the administrative staff mixed up my last name with my first name, so everyone was calling me by the wrong name. The one highlight of my visit was the nurse who did my bloodwork - she was a pro, quick and very friendly. When I finally got done it was 1:24pm. I'm sure everyone who works here has the best of intentions but they are really disorganized.
