Cool Place...Bar and Dance Club usually have fun music and lively crowd. Love the look of the place. Continually changing staff of Bartenders leave a lot to be desired... most have been rude & slow. Nothing like a Bartender with an attitude problem or texting and ignoring customers. No tip for you...
Absolutely love this club! The music was awesome. The drinks were good and fairly priced. All the staff we met was amazing. We'll definitely go back when in Baltimore again. Nicole the bartender was phenomenal!
If you are looking for a local LGBT friendly bar this is the typical place to go. It's nothing extravagant however they have been around for a long time. Many regulars go here. Music on weekend is good normal club music. There is a cover charge for dance floor but not for bar section.
Had a very good first time experience here with the Karaoke night on Tuesday but my second time around, The bouncer kept following me around all night. And to me, I thought he liked me. The whole time he was keeping his eye on me just to get me out of the club. I would NOT recommend going to this place if you plan to have an open time. Even the guys there don't really speak much to anyone. Nice karaoke nights, but weekend nights are awlful. These B*****S can rot in hell for that experience, $30 on drinks just to tell me and my friends we had to leave? I think NOT! GO TO THE HIPPO INSTEAD!
I was charged 20% tip by server James A even though I did not leave a tip for going to the dance floor. Charging the tip without the customers knowledge is ridiculous. I signed the receipt and believed I would only pay what I signed for but they added their own tip. This wasn't even for drinks, theu shouldn't expect a tip for dance floor ticket. I wouldn't go there again. Plus the music is terrible.
My friends and I visited this place while in Baltimore attending a conference. We arrived at approximately 1:30. At 1:45 the bar tender stated that it was last call. My friends ordered and she tried to converse with the man that was supposed to be standing at the door, but decided to stand at the bar and he became irate and rude after being asked what time they close. This occurred at 1:52. We left the drinks we purchased on the counter and will never return... Also, it’s fraud to ask someone to purchase something and ask them to leave 7 minutes later to leave, although your closing hours listed don’t align with the time you’re saying you’re closed... clearly it’s fraud and the owner needs to invest more time into customer service development. If this is the best Baltimore has to offer, I see why small businesses are falling apart. #Thank god for Amex.
The man working coat check and taking cover was a complete jerk, treating people like peasants or idiots. Meanwhile letting others cut and leave with their coats, while making others return to the back of the line to wait so that they could leave a bar that they already paid to get into, and were already patrons of. How nice to be treated like a nuisance as you're leaving the bar that you just dropped $95 at on overpriced and poorly-made drinks, just trying to get the coat that you spent an extra $7 tipping the guy to check. Not only was the music upstairs lame, smelled like someone had gotten sick and the bar was empty on a Saturday night, but the staff in general holds a snobby air about them. For a community that is supposed to be so welcoming, they do the exact opposite. If you're going out in Mt. Vernon, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.
Fun place but they added money onto all the tips we left even though were already tipping generously. Checked my bank account and found the 3 dollar tip I left for an 8 dollar drink got turned into a 13 dollar tip. I dont mind tipping, but I dont like being taken advantage of.
Stopped here on a very hot summer day for a cold beer about 5:45 pm. Few local guys and girls. Nice ambiance. Good comfortable energy. Not sure how the night ambiance is but I would bet it’s good!
This place has really gone down hill. Sometimes it's empty, sometimes there's a crowd. The music could be dance or pop songs - you never know. The last time I was there they were playing Kid Rock's cover of Sweet Home Alabama. However, it's one of two gay dance clubs left standing so you don't really have much of a choice.
