I had heard so much about this place, and was looking forward to our campout there with our son and his family. However, there were warning signs all around the area due to the toxic algae problem of the permanently "impaired" lake. I'm sure it used to once be breath-takingly beautiful, but now many of the homes and cottages are for sale as people try to move from the toxic water. It's sad to see what has happened! We won't return.
