Grandview Medical Center

Grandview made it so easy. Parking was on the same floor as Outpatient Surgery, so no getting lost and having to ask directions.. the waiting room was pretty full but the administrative members made it go fast. I was surprised however that given I registered on line I was asked several questions prior to intake and was told my cost for surgery at that time. Everyone was helpful and cordial. My husband while waiting enjoyed the great cafeteria. The whole experience was pleasant and rewarding as my surgery was a success!

Everyone at Grandview was very nice. When I checked in the staff was very friendly and helpful. The nurses were very professional and didn’t rush me to get ready for the procedure. Everyone explained what they were doing to made me as comfortable as possible. The Doctor told me what he was going to do and how long it would take. When I went to recovery and was woken up they offered me a drink and some cookies.when I was ready to leave they took me to me car and helped me to make sure I got in the car safely. It was a great experience.

Beautiful facility but, unfortunately services by maintenance and daytime nurses doesn’t match the exterior. Cannot accomplish simple duties for the the patient during the daytime staff. The night nurses did what they could to make the experience comfortable for the patient. Unfortunately the grievance caused by the daytime staff couldn’t make the situation better. Night staff was the only reason why I did not give a one star rating. Had a friend who stayed a couple weeks previous to my experience and had a great experience. He was on a different unit so it could be just my experience. Good luck.

The entire staff was wonderful. From the receptionist at the entrance door, to the nurse that wheeled me out after my procedure. I’ve had surgery at other hospitals but this was by far the best. I was a little nervous but the kind nurses put my mind at ease. My procedure went off without a hitch and they kept my husband informed at every step. Great job!

Meeting family and friends of the sick keeps me humble. Some pets miss family also. Millie came with her owner to visit his father. Millie didn't go inside yet she was able to get some fresh air as her owner and I talked.

Dr Jones and the team he works with is a professional group starting at the front desk, lab techs and the infusion room. Their professionalism is only matched by their empathy. The facility is always clean and easy to get around. I’m grateful to have them on my side. They’ve belted out Happy Birthday to me and others, and today I got Halloween cupcakes. I wish these people could know what they’ve done for me and my family.

All of my nurses were great! Dr. Christopher was amazing he came and checked on me several times while I was there. It’s such a beautiful hospital with so many selection of great tasting food in their cafeteria that my husband loved. With this being such a beautiful Hospital there public bathrooms were never clean.

First let me say that nurses were AMAZING along with my doctor & pretty much any other staff that came in our room .. the issue was dietary & no house keeping … when I did receive my food it was either incorrect , cold or not cooked through .. I was inpatient three days after delivering my son& not once did anyone come into our room & clean it nor take out the trash , all trash cans were over flowing into the floor pretty much along with a huge bag of linen that was left to just hang on the back of the bathroom door along with the floors left the bottom of my feet/socks black from not being kept clean . A lot of the staffing doesn’t knock on the door which is very frustrating for a mother who just gave birth to their baby and may be trying to breastfeed either way it’s not okay . Like I stated above nurses and my doctor were amazing the issue lies with the staff in between .

From the moment I entered the Grandview Medical Center, i felt a calmness. The professionalism of the staff in the financial department, til they came and got me for my procedure, nothing but excellent service. I was also a hard stick, and they were trying to just keep me calm. Throughout the entire Hospital, the staff on my floor, from the janitorial & food service people, the awesome nurses, doctors, their assistants, PT staff, all just excellent, excellent people!! I can't say enough good things about them and my experience at Grandview Medical Hospital.

We had a great experience the whole time we were there. Everyone was very friendly, and most importantly they made sure we had a safe delivery, and took great care of our daughter! The food was good, but they were short staffed in the kitchen and it took a little longer to get it to us. Our nurse Casey stood out, and so did our tech Morgan! I’ve delivered at a different hospital before, and they are nothing comparable to Grandview. We will definitely use Grandview again!
