Dr. Keri Hyde has been the best doctor have had EVER, and I have had a lot of providers!. She has always taken the time to listen and explain things to me if I don not understand them. She goes out of her way to help you get the care you need. She truly cares for her patients and you always can tell she puts her heart into her work. I am so glad I took the chance on a small clinic and met her!
Dr. Clifford is wonderful. He is always friendly and energetic, and truly cares about his patients. You don’t feel rushed or that you have limited time with him during your visit. He is always patient, concerned for your best interest, and easy to talk to. He recommends the best treatment and diagnosis options for you and tries to save you money by finding the best options for your needs. Highly recommend and will be a continual patient of his. The rest of the staff at this office were also friendly. The building was clean and organized. There was no delay in service after check in.
Dr. Carroll is a great doctor. However this practice has systemic issues with respecting appointment times. For example, I had an appointment for labs at 8:00 yesterday. That is when they open and I intentionally chose that time figuring I would be the first person because I am very busy with work. I show up at 7:55 and get called back at 8:10. Somehow there are four people in front of me waiting at the lab, including a young lady I saw check in and get waived back to the lab immediately. I could see I was going to be there quite a bit longer and left in frustration.
I attended this facility for over three and a half years for primary care. I will never go back. I have never been treated so callously by healthcare “professionals” in my life. I have had so many problems with this facility that I am not sure where to start. The rotating door of front desk staff are consistently rude, careless, mean, and unhelpful. I have never had such difficulties with simply scheduling an appointment or asking a simple question. They always seem to take forever, and their leading attitude seems to be that no matter what you, the patient, are doing that you are causing them an inconvenience. The amount of unpleasantness that the front desk staff alone presents to every single patient is enough for nobody to ever come back to this facility ever again. If you get as far as being taken back for an actual appointment, you’ll be surprised to find out that you probably will not even see the attending physician that you came to see. Half of the visits I have made here have been completely facilitated by temporary nurse practitioners. Fortunately, the nurse practitioners I have had one on one encounters with were helpful and facilitated what I needed. The nurse practitioners were the sole reasons for me to continue receiving primary care at this facility. As far as the actual doctors go, I have had absolutely terrible experiences with them. The first doctor I saw at this facility was Dr. Tew, and she was awful. Dr. Tew never ordered blood work from me, despite being a new patient with uncontrolled asthma, and never adequately listened to me or treated me. She essentially threw inhalers at a person who could not breathe daily and strongly implied that I was “fine” and “just fat”. It’s no surprise that she quit being a primary care doctor entirely during a global pandemic and instead opted to become some sort of weight loss specialist, where I’m sure she’s continuing to make people feel lesser based on their size. Dr. Tew frequently ignored symptoms I was having and also ignored entire conditions I was suffering from and that needed diagnosis and treatment. I continued to attend this facility because she had left it. The second doctor I was supposed to be treated by here was Dr. Carroll. I never saw Dr. Carroll despite multiple appointments to see Dr. Carroll. I have noticed at this facility a remarkably high turnover in employees at every level of operation. I’ve heard straight from the mouths of attending nurses and lab workers that they hate it at this facility, and I do not think I have ever seen the same people working as nurses here twice. I have had multiple conditions worsen while waiting for referrals from this office. I have had multiple conditions worsen while waiting for prescriptions that failed to be filed from this office. I have had to wait six months from diagnosis of a condition for any treatment at all simply because the “professionals” at this facility wanted me to “wait” to get medicine. Healthcare facilities are not supposed to make getting healthcare even harder for people who need it. Healthcare facilities are not supposed to leave patients feeling like they do not matter at all, and that their health problems are not of importance or urgency. This healthcare facility has left me sick for years from under treatment and a lack of initiative to send me to the proper specialists. The American healthcare system is riddled with problems, and this facility seems to exemplify absolutely every single one of those problems.
If it weren't for Dr.Carroll being the best doctor I've ever had; I probably wouldn't come back to this clinic. I followed him from an old practice. It was too difficult trying to make an appointment as a new patient. Apparently some things on the site just don't work? When I called, lady #1 asked me everything 3 times, kept fussing at her computer, and the call was eventually disconnected after 20 minutes. She failed to understand me telling her multiple times I need an appointment for after 3:45. She didn't even know when they stopped taking appointments for the day. It won't take long, it's just to review test results. She kept trying to give me morning appointments. I kept telling her I work, and can't come in before then. The next lady I called after getting disconnected was told the same thing. Again, she wouldn't listen. However, she told me about telehealth. I told her multiple times I wanted an appointment after work. She pushed the telehealth, and I chose that option. She still managed to schedule me for an in-person appointment. When I called that day to get instructions on how to do my appointment, the third person I spoke to said I needed to be, "rescheduled" for telehealth because it was coded wrong. I told her about the trouble I had so far, and she did not act surprised at all.
Excellent care and always accommodating staff. Staff will do whatever they can to make sure your needs are met and you are receiving the best and most timely care they can offer. Thanks to everyone, from the receptionist at check in, to Danielle and Dr Carroll, everyone at Grandview - Lee Branch is always so easy going and pleasant, the only complaint I have is their welcome area is gloomy and depressing. They need to turn some lights on!
Our family switched primary care practices about a year ago and we have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Whitney Tew and her team at this practice. They are fast, efficient, and caring. They have always followed-up with phone calls and test results withing the expected time 24-48hrs. I highly recommend them.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Absolutely the worst health service I ever had. This facility in my personal opinion seem to be built around a business platform instead of healthcare. They make it their first priority to get a copay out of you even when its confirmed that your insurance pays 100% just to go to the back to be belittled by an arrogant nurse with just wanting to update personal medical information. It is sad that a nurse would try to debate with a patient that is trying to convey what other health professionals have stated. If I had to chose between this location and a full hospital ER waiting room, I would choose the ER because at least i may receive respectful and kind care compared to this cold and dreadful doctors office. BEWARE EVERYONE!!! Don't go to Grandview until they learn how to do better with patients and learn what it means to be caring professionals in the medical field. It's called healthcare for a reason.
The most caring and compassinate group of individuals! I cant say enough about the great care that not only me, but my family has been given by Dr. JACOBS AND HER AWESOME TEAM! Highly recommend to anyone needing an internist!
Dr. Carroll is a Saint! The Nurses are nice and helpful, and the Reception Staff are so pleasant and friendly. Thank you for a welcoming and caring visit!
