A good place to stop for a break while going on the S. Platte River Trail between Denver and Littleton from either the trail or the road. But beware of the homeless population which gets heavy during the summer months.
Peaceful. Quiet like your not in the city. Ducks in water. Goose a walking like they own everything. Little ones can play. Big kids can play and daydream as well. Happy I spent time there.
Nice place good parking customer service is very helpful I like it so much I start my day there and end my night there
Great halfway spot to meet up bw Westminster and Littleton. The playground is always empty! It's a beautiful little park on the Platte.
Would be 5 stars but the geese are on steroids at this particular spot. Easy river access from East bank a few nice pools but didn't spot even one fish the 2 times here. Good area for kids to run with uninterrupted adult supervision - as it is a still a river with real water...kids+water-supervision=.
People are so Judgemental And rude looking at me like I don't belong there
Nice spot on the side of the Platte River for a picnic.
