Was hesitant at first, but fell in love with this place. From the people, to the staff, to the unique food. AMAZING!

A friend brought me to Gravlax on my first trip to LA and it was incredible. Magnus was a super personable and hospitable barkeep and the local crowd was fun. Artists are featured inside and he keeps a smartly curated selection of small plates, centered around cured fish from Northern Europe. The space was formerly a comic shop, so look for hidden elements of the past. Bonus points: try to find the Supermen and Spidermen throughout the building. Coming from Seattle, I immediately felt at home here. Kudos to Magnus & team for a great night!

I love the beet gravlax! The sample platter is great if you have an open mind and adventurous palette. Good wine and beer selections for every taste. Lobster slider is amazing too.

Love Gravlax. We come here on a weekly basis. We love the food, although it's not for everyone. Fresh, delicious, unique. Great wine selection. Awesome music and the most comfortable hipster hangout for miles around.
