I took the tour on to different days with two different friends. We had two different tour guides who gave each their own unique set of stories and information. Even if you've taken the tour before, I recommend taking it again with a different guide! It was wonderful and both of my friends enjoyed it.

I would 100% recommend! Did the hop on hop off option. Since we got off at a couple of stops and got back on we had several different tour guides; all were great! Got to see places and hear historical information that otherwise I wouldnt have.

We felt very taken care of when we arrived for the 11:00 we bought, and the first driver said he had no more seats since it was a hop on hop off. The coordinators at the Visitor Center accommodated us by bringing another bus out and suddenly the new bus was half full! Or driver Walt was very good. Humorous and well spoken, and though I'd lived in Asheville sixteen years, the route he took was perfect. I like that they take you to River Arts district. I also liked how candid he was, asking people in a funny way not to talk over him, because others paid money to ride. It's an excellent deal because it's fully narrated, and you get to hop on for two more days.

The most amazing your of the downtown Asheville area. Learn how Asheville came to be. See the Historic Montford area, Grove Park Inn and Grovewood Gallery, Pack Square, Thomas Wolfe Memorial, River Arts District and Biltmore Village. There are 2 days passes also! "Get On" and "Get Off" at 10 stops around town! Ask question throughout the tour!

This is a typical Greyline tour, the right stops, the trolleys were clean, and the guides/drivers knowledgeable. We have taken many of the Grayline tours, and find them first rate. They have the Get On / Get Off option which is great. Why the three stars? We were with four drivers, and none of them wanted to answer questions. The narration was so focused on time, distance, and so canned, even the jokes took place at the right corners. If a question was asked, it was given a brief gloss over, and the canned speech continued. Unlike all other of the many wonderful Greyline tours we have taken, this one might have as well used a tape playback system. Again, well run, clean, the right stops, just no personalization.
