Great Clips

Today was my first haircut at great clips and tia is great at hear job. I am happy with the services and the pricing. I got a fabulous bobcat for 7.99 as I had the coupon and didn’t have to wait for my turn too. Highly recommended.

I was sad to see that this salon barely had a 3 star review. I'm a trendy woman, who refuses to pay $100 for a hair trim, so it's always risky when looking for an affordable place for a haircut. I've been coming here for about a year. Every stylist has given me EXACTLY what I've asked for - a slight trim. That might not seem like a big deal, but when you're trying to grow your hair, it is a big deal. I just went to Tia last week, and I'm really happy how she freshened me up. I saw someone say that the customer service wasn't good, but I've always felt like they treated me better than some of the fancy salons.

I'm not sure about all these negative reviews. My husband and I have been going to the City Ave Great Clips for over three years. We have had nothing but wonderful service. We add additional services like wash and hair products to our normal visits. It is much more reasonable than uppity salons. We go to Heather every time and she never disappoints.

My first visit here was great! I usually go to beauty salons to get my haircut but figured I would try great clips out. Kiyafah cut my hair the first time and did a great job. My second visit I made the mistake of not requesting her to cut my hair. Instead another woman cut my hair. It was a horrifying experience! While washing my hair she was very rough, it took forever, and I ended up with a lot of my hair being tugged out of my scalp. The haircut was equally as awful. I asked for a trim and she cut several inches off of my hair and seemed very confused by the layers in my hair. She had no idea what she was doing and my bangs ended up looking very butchered and my hair was very uneven. I feel bad for the guy who got his haircut before me, because he looked as equally unsatisfied with his haircut.

We were in and out quickly, it was my 6 year old sons first hair cut...its curly so I usually do it myself: also the guy was very friendly and good with him!

My haircut at Great Clips was a terrible experience. The stylist was rude, obnoxious, and made unprofessional comments. The stylists were watching TV and socializing with each other rather than focusing on the haircuts. My stylist did a slapdash job, clearly trying to get it over with quickly so she could go home. If you want a friendly environment and a good haircut, do NOT come to this Great Clips! I was extremely dissatisfied with the service.

Took my son here 2x and first time a gentleman cut his hair. Did an ok job and was quick about it, but the wait was pretty long. Second time a gal cut his hair, it was so embarressing and torturous to watch. She had no idea what she was doing and gave my son a bowl like cut. Even my 3 yr old was extremely depressed with the haircut that I had to take him to a whole different salon to have it fixed. My husband went here once and refused to go again. Poor service, long wait and such lack of experience.

It has been 2 times that I had the most terrible experience. The first time I thought it was incidental but now I am convinced that there is something wrong with managing this branch. The barber was so incompetent and very confused. Smelled like he already smoked , gave me a terrible hair cut, and left so many abrasions on my skin. This branch just hires the most incompetent and confused barbers. Although there are decent barbers but I won't go to this branch anymore. Terrible managing.
